Someone needs to tell this secret maker that Chantilly uses a bell shaped petticoat in their stock pictures for this dress as well. It's okay to use these kinds of petticoats for some gothic dresses, it's definitely not an a-line type of dress.

#16 I need some help/advice please. Can someone please tell me why it's ok to sell a purse with ink stains on the inside, but not ok to sell a purse with marker stains? Excuse my ignorance, but I didn't see a problem with my listing. I thought I listed it $40 or so below retail. It was given to me by a friend, and admittedly I have no idea what the purse is called, and it may be priced wrong. The marker stains can't be seen unless you flip the top of the purse inside out, and I had no idea it would be so appalling to people. If anyone knows how to get marker stains out of fabric, or what the purse is called so I can price it accordingly I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Normal glasses look fine with lolita, it's those giant hipster nerd glasses that look bad on everybody.
If someone has ugly unflattering frames then they'll look bad in any outfit. But I've seen plenty of cute lolita outfits with glasses. If you have nice neutral frames that flatter your face they should go with any outfit.

i love this! and it holds true without being too harsh- lolita is a very detailed fashion. it's not like regular clothes where you can slap on jeans and a shirt and call it a day. it's about all the little details, hair, makeup, nails, etc. a coordinate can be a significant investment which is why it's so important to build a good base wardrobe and work out from there.

i recently came out as a lesbian to some close friends and my (super supportive) parents. I've been involved in my local loli comm for a couple of years and I've always really loved the fashion before that. Now I've been starting to gravitate towards Ouji as I feel more comfortable? I guess? in it. Last time a girl mentioned even a whisper of bisexuality the other girls practically attacked her at a meet up and tried to convince her it's "just a phase" or treat her totally different. If she doesn't, she needs to point that out, otherwise people assume glasses are part of the coord. I've seen other girls who buy frames that are relevant to their closet (pink, pearls, whatever).

I also wear glasses, and every time I buy new ones I think of how the frames fit into my daily wardrobe and style. For example, I never wear gold jewelry, so I never would buy gold lenses.

I actually am currently wearing some hipster glasses very similar to hers, but before that I used to get unobtrusive wire rims that fit every occasion. Since I knew my glasses wouldn't be appropriate for certain events--like lolita, formal gatherings, and the like, I bought one box of contacts for those times.

Well so, it's like everything else. You can go cheap, but it will show 99% of the time. Cheap frames are generally a cheap plastic, or very boring metal frames. You may think the big fashion lenses take away from her outfit, but a cheap pair can do the same. Then when glasses shopping, even if you find a fairly priced frame, the lens making costs quite a bit extra. I was going to get another pair from Coastal's recent sale, but then when the cost of lenses came up, that was about $75 alone (I need to get the thinner material to avoid heavy glasses since my prescription is so strong). Anyone in the USA and most other countries can get their prescription for glasses from their eye dr, go online and buy really cheap, nice glasses, same with contacts.
