So I have a spare set of Bats pieces and a Supes belt buckle. Pieces are as is. They do have dark spots where they were the first cast out of a mold to get the dust out of them, but they're meant to be sanded down and filler-primed first anyhow. The yellow resin is not supposed to be correct color.

Bats set(Mostly for Batgirl):
-Urethane Bats Logo (Actually just a golden/dark yellow. It's not too difficult to use a urethane spray paint though)
- Resin Belt Buckle (Has notched back for gluing or bolting in straps.
- Resin Batarang
-2 sets Resin Batfins that go Large -> Med -> Small

And a generic Supes belt logo without the S that is used on some Superboy's and New 52 Superman.

They're extremely forgiving in the stretch department (could probably fit a US size 9 at the max) but I wouldn't recommend them for anyone taller than 5 foot 4 if you don't mind not wearing them as stirrups and wearing boots over the foot, or 5 foot 3 if you actually want the stirrups.

No flaws etc, recommend for 75-90cm bust, 60-75 waist for best fit/not too much riding up/not needing to over-tighten the corset lacing. I've seen some sellers saying it'll go further, but I can't imagine that the bodice would sit right. 83cm from shoulder-hem although the elastic straps could probably give you another 4-5cm of length, I paid way too much for this thinking I'd wear it a lot but have only worn it once. The ruffled skirt is a medium, but you probably need 37"+ for it to sit properly

As for the Sweet Rococo blouse, it's pretty stretchy. I'll get exact measurements later but it's super generous in terms of sizing. It fit my big shoulders and my waist (which sits around 83 cm) but it was too small for my bust (which is 98cm).

I'd recommend 94cm ish for it to be comfy, but if you're smaller than me I'm sure it'll fit.

It is time for me to part with my Geara Zulu Angelo Sauper. After Fanime this weekend, I would like to try and sell my costume. Funny, I'm pretty average and I bought most of my burando by slowly saving up the few spare bucks I got from an underpaid, labor intensive weekend job of wrestling wet dogs into bathtubs, then browsing second hand sites, and going sale hunting.

If you think about it, the designers are not collecting some HUGE amount of money: fabrics like these custom prints runs about 15-20.00 a yard wholesale (it is likely they aren't ordering more than 200 yds total since their runs are so small, so they can't get huge bulk discounts). Then you need to think about the labor costs... some brands actually produce in factories in Japan rather than China or even worse some place like Bangladesh so their labor costs are significantly higher than Taobao shops. So each piece costs maybe 60.00 in materials and 30.00 in labor (that is a cheap labor guestimate btw)? Thats 90.00 for a wholesale price, not including their overhead costs, such as store fronts, employees, running the websites, electricity, business licenses, business taxes, etc, etc. SO probably at the end of the day they make enough money to pay all of that off, and hopefully make a decent enough profit to fund their next round of designs and give themselves a little money for their efforts. So they actually NEED to sell a dress at 300.00 to stay in business. You are not *just* paying for a label. You are paying for a lot of people's jobs.

Let's assume wholesale custom print fabric is 5.00/yd (which is dirt cheap, even for a basic cotton), thats about 12.50 for fabric for a typical lolita dress + cost of cotton lace + zipper + lining fabric + hook and eyes, etc. You're probably up to 20.00 now. Ok now let's add in how many hours it takes to make a dress in a factory... probably 4 hours per dress if they are very efficient (all those frilly details take a lot of time) from cutting to sewing to final QC. Chinese average minimum wage is about .80/hr and japanese minimum wage is about 8.00/hr so thats either an additional 32.00 or 3.20. and thats minimum... sewing is a skilled labor and usually doesn't get paid the bottom rung of the pay scale anon. I don't think previous anon is making up their numbers out of nowhere.

Hand bags and accessories are the exception to the rule as they don't take much labor (not much to cut and sew, they are small items), nor are they much cost in terms of materials. They are in fact the cash cow for many of the high end labels as they do not sell many of their garments b/c the price is too prohibitive.

Nobody is holding a gun to anyone's head and demanding them to buy from brand. I was one of those people who couldn't buy brand starting out. I like to offbrand shop a lot of items. But I like supporting the brands because I appreciate what they make.

We also live in a time when cheap throw-away clothes are common-place. A $15 pair of jeans might last you a year or two, worn every day, but you throw them out. You don't care for them. Toss it in the wash machine and be done with it. It's okay, it was cheap. No real artistry was put into it.

With Lolita, you invest in items that are meant to last for several years, be well-taken care of, they are display pieces not only for just your body but on display in your closet. They are wearable pieces of art meant to be enjoyed and cherished. Not worn around and dumped off at your local Goodwill or dumpster when the season changes.

It's designer clothing, you're paying more for the label than anything. In designer world, lolita is actually considered pretty inexpensive. Even super high end brands like Alexander McQueen mostly use polyester and cotton.
