I think it looks nice. A black wig on the black coord would have made her look like a horror film.
I really prefer this kind of twinning, with different colors of the same dress, as opposed to something like >>7012650

I just bought the same dress (different colour) as my friend, and we're trying to put together twinning coordinates. I really salute these girls, whilst my friend and I are both classic lolitas, we have different tastes, and we're having trouble with the simplest things such as picking a blouse or a pair of socks that match each other. You'd think the blouse would be easy, but if we match the colour, the collar doesn't match, if we manage to match the colour and collar, the sleeves don't match, or there are extra ribbons on the blouse that doesn't match. And the legwear looks like it will end up as off white tights, because that's all we both have in common.

We're getting to where one of us may have to buy something to match the other person, or we're just going to call it quits on that dress and agree to wear it however.

What about going on Taobao and finding an offbrand blouse that you both like and both of you buy it? Nice blouses run around $20 if you look, and I'm of the opinion that you can never have too many blouses. Another option is to look on Aliexpress, which has a lot of the same items as Taobao, and shipping can be cheaper.

We didn't really plan on it, I just squeed that my latest haul included this jsk, and then she said she has it in her wardrobe as well. So we're stuck with jsks, unfortunately.

Yeah, we're considering buying something as our last resort. It's just... look, we don't have small wardrobes, I have something like twenty blouses in mine, and so does she. You'd think we'd be able to find something in common. I remember! I saw it, got excited, then I saw it was a prank. It was depressing, but pretty amusing.

I tried twinning once and loved walking around with my friend in the matching outfit. Although ours was a pretty easy process to complete though because I provided everything for her.
I happened to have the same dress in both the black and the white version, had the same blouse in black and in white, the same socks in black and white, and a pair of black and white tea parties. Then I made almost identical bonnets to match (couldn't find black roses exact to the white ones I found).

Actually -- I have a closet full of brand and i recently bought one of Oo jia's jsks and while the fabric is not a perfect match of the original the quality it pretty good. Not to mention it was finished more professionally finished than most of my baby jsks.

Her more recent stuff looks nicer in photos. I had some of her older stuff and it's not really too great. I ordered something from her a few weeks ago, so I'm interested to see how it'll come out. I'm praying it'll look as nice as it did as a drawing, but we'll see.
