I got neon pencils the other day.
the book is ridiculously cheesy and childish (considering the audience)
in the book I said
"the girls of the milky planet planet are called Lolitas, and the boys are called Kodonas."
"lolita dresses are expensive to lolita residents on earth because they are imported from another planet!"
"you may not believe me, but Lolitas and Kodonas walk the earth right now!"
one girl in the group I was working at, told me she saw a lolita at the mall, and and all the other kids surrounded her to ask what she looked like.
it was so freaking cute but so cheesy. I'm still working on it so if anyone has any suggestions on what to add, that would be great. I've got the landscape and design of the place down. and how they take absolute pride in their outfits. Its nothing really serious, just something to keep the kids I watch busy and occupied with the stories.
one time a little boy (about 5) tugged on my skirt and said

His last name is there because of his brother, Virgil. Originally their last name is Fuerst, but due to that sounding awkward for utau, i translated the last named from German to Japanese.

And the whole grungy thing is only reference for myself, relax anon. I have all my OCs documented in a sketchbook I have so that's the only word I could think of FOR MYSELF for his style. This is the only drawing I have of him so really I'd just prefer text on it to be ignored as that is all just FOR MYSELF AS REFERENCE

Thanks! I use Photoshop CS6. For drawing I use a rectangular brush with a slight texture on it (nothing fancy, just a bit of a rough surface-y texture!), for the sketch itself I use a size jitter with pen pressure (with high starting value), for painting I switch a bit inbetween jitter and just plain old transfer paint brush. Hope that helps a bit, if it doesn't, hit me up with an ask on my tumblr and I'll try to elaborate!

I'm not saying cake on the ganguro makeup, hon. But as a glasses-wearer, you know as well as I do that they make your eyes look smaller and some color on your cheeks wouldn't hurt either.
