Anime Girls have been watching Romances and boy's love series all their childhood and don't really have guys to relate to their fandom. While not all of them are yaoi-shipping weebs they have less experience interacting with the opposite sex and can be unstable in social situations from being shy nervous to being outright vulgar.

Comic Girls are probably just nerds of other things, they play video games that guys play and are into movies that they like too. Thus they have more experience with the opposite gender. While some are cool and easy to strike up conversations with, you are more likely to run into the stereotypical "fake gamer girl" in this area.

Both have strengths, both have weaknesses.

Can we have an actual DragonCon thread? Going for all 4 days for the first time this year instead of just Saturday morning parade and I'm curious what it's like.

But if anything my most important question is: What's the best day and time to stand in line for a badge? I only really need it on Saturday and Sunday so I could pick it up any day before that at any time.

Dragoncon has unofficially attracted a lot of slimy, entitlementy, middled aged alternative/fetish people over the years. There have been clashes over the past decade as women now are less likely to shut up when some gross 50 year old dude does something nasty. I don't even have trouble getting girls; I just want to find a grill dressed as a comic book character for a night.

Last year was my first Dragoncon. I'm not promiscuous, so I had no plan to hit up much of late night Dragoncon. But a few situations happened that got me back at the ground floor of the main hotels at past midnight. Fuck, all that sweat and liquor. There's more pheromones than oxygen.

I remember a few trashy looking people coming to the con Sunday night wanting to buy people's badges as they left so they could go to the con just for the nighttime whorefest.

All this said, there were a lot of people around at night who were in fabulous shape.

I used to be toothpick-ish at one point. Started lifting around January, on top of running. I stopped running once my job kicked in full time back in May, and it takes up so much time that I don't have enough to make the healthiest foods. I roll out of bed, throw something in the oven, shower, check on here while I wait for that stuff to cook, and then run off to work. Rinse and repeat. Once I quit in about a week or 2, I'll be sitting on enough time and money to eat nice and healthy and take some supps to get my dream abs.

On top of that, looking to spend some of my paycheck on some tools like a heatgun and sander so I can start working with EVA foam. It's all looking up :^)

Because, and this is coming from someone who lives a kink lifestyle, Dragoncon has a huge kink base. Like 60-70% of the people going are into kink/fetish stuff, and they even have bdsm meetups.
That being said, they manage to keep that shit under wraps, because most of my vanilla friends who are into fantasy and stuff want to go to Dragoncon for the fantasy stuff, and have no idea about the kink stuff.
