DCC and MCM are completely different cons. the lines were ridiculous and they only let half capacity in.the food was incredibly overprices, the microphones on the stage didnt work for half of it so you couldn't hear anything. the traders were Blah. an aweful lot of star wars merch and not much else. the displays are what saved it. it was cool seeing all the props and things. i hope they have sorted their shit out this year. i don't know if they had a gunpla stall i'm afraid.

Dublin City comic con's tickets were sold out and I was too late to book them online and its mentioned that there is a limited amount at the door on the day.
Has anyone ever run into a problem not getting in due to no tickets left or is this just a method of getting a few more shekels?

So lads, I am absolutely covered in freckles. As in, you can barely see my arms with them. They're gross as fuck and so dense that they realistically can't be covered with costume make-up as they'll look super cakey.

Any ideas on what to do? Besides the obvious answer of cosplaying characters that wear long sleeves (for even then I still have them on my hands!).

I'm hoping to eventually go to a con. Which ones would you recommend?

Was OK.

Less people gave it a better ambience. No overheating and overcrowding. Those two won the pub quiz again. The Panty and Stocking panel was hilarious. Prices in the trade hall were the right side of sane. Most of the events were OK. And inspite of flooding like fuck it generally seemed better run than previous nom-con's.

Then they inflicted the closing ceremony on everyone. Some of the skits far outstayed their welcome, for a start.

I'm still pretty chubby but I kinda like being this way, I wouldn't really have curves if I had to rely on my skeleton. But I've definitely lost a bit when comparing to older pics, yeah. Okay I'm legit not even sure what to say to this. I talk like how I talk and I'm not going to change that. One thing that I do have is a really awesome passing voice.

I don't think I overdo makeup, I tend to do it pretty subtle. I do contour on occasion but generally I don't like to spend much time on makeup. Straightening my hair would be a bad idea because I tend to look more masculine when my hair is flatter, as it contrasts with my strong features. I'm really shit at painting my nails and the fumes go to my head.

I think you're missing the point. I'm trying to draw out the problem so people can see how bad it is. It's not self validating. The more people post transphobic shit in retort the harder it is to ignore or excuse it.
