As for my own dream, I don't even care if I'm the one in the costume... I just want to make it. Which also includes gilded armor and other adornments that would rack up the price and also... horse armor. Not to mention the bodysuit that would have to be modified to look like it was a biomechanical temperature controller, and the fact that all of this would have to look as if it'd seen use for hundreds of years and dirty beyond belief. Even the horse would have to have parts that look mechanical and that would be somewhat rusted and then cleaned or oiled...

Jirachi is one of my favorite Pokemon, I love Japanese traditional style clothes, and I have the right body type. I have nowhere near the amount of sewing talent though and I have no idea how I'd nicely cut out the shapes in the flowing yellow pieces.

If you want to go for authenticity, it looks like you might be able to get away with using some stilts or making a leg piece where two poles come down on the sides to hold a wheel about the size of a soccer ball or so.
You could go a bit bigger, but think of this like roller blading with a unicycle on each foot.

Hmm, an interesting thought could be taking two wheel barrows and take their wheel sections off, using the end as the support for your foot.

The problem is you'd either have to find one that doesn't entirely rely on the arms of the barrow or find a way to hold what would be left of the arms in place to stabilize the section where you'd put your foot.

Well, you don't have to do the physically impossible. Just wear black tights like this Calne Ca cosplayer for example. The character actually only has those legs which bend backwards. Also, if you do a photoshoot you can just shoop your legs away.

Every time I've scrolled past this thread I've thought, "Tama in the blue suit" but didn't post it because no one cares about Muv-Luv. Clearly I'm wrong. (Also Sumika because I love pink too much and her hair is downright easy compared to the other girls.)

Probably won't happen any time soon though because I'm not really interested in losing weight right now, and I've also never sewn a bodysuit. I started the wig already and I intend to see it through completely though, even if it means restarting 50 times and not actually finishing for a year. I did make the school uniform though, so I have no excuse to not finish the wig.

All this plugsuit talk has reminded me of an idea I pretty must tried to banish to the depths of my mind.

It's been a few years since I looked at the design and it seems much more manageable now (I'd cast the detail parts and probably use neoprene for the suit) but I love the OVA so much I don't want to desecrate it by cosplaying Kino.

It's a fully-covered costume. Get a larger bra than what you'd normally wear and stuff it. Nobody will know the difference as long as you get the shape right.

I was finally able to finish the costume for her normal version and it was hell just to keep it from falling off the entire convention. I will make her battle form complete with the floating swords once I figure out how to defy the laws of physics.

Velvet and foiling and resin gems and cast pewter and Sintra and variously textured craft foam and glory and also a neat hat.

Physically impossible.
I did see one group from Taiwan pull it off by having the person in the suit wear a black bodysuit, then take photos at night so the suit blended in and didn't stick out.
However, that relegates the suit to very strict photoshoot situations, which would suck balls.

Any monster suit from the Shadow Line (even Gritta), but mosty Madame Noire. The sewing is easily within my skill set but any toku monster suit is going to require a decent amount of sculpting, casting and polyfoam work that I have zero experience in.

Proceeds layer by layer You'll need a really long bloomer (I think they're called drawers? idk),have a look at the dress alone and try to picture it without the apron,and then look at the apron. Don't forget the little bow (same material as the apron). You'll maybe need a petticoat if your booty doesn't make the same shape tho. Hope it helps,my english is shit because i'm a frenchfag
