I snagged Posion de lamour last year, and the Fleur OP on Thursday. Inbetween that I've crossed off a few wishlist pieces like IW's Forest Harvest, Royal Library (partially replaced with Strahov,) IW's Acanthus, and an Atelier Boz Roland Jacket.
I'd someday like to own the Bookmark JSK and Gloria, but we'll see how I go.

I realised that my tastes seem to lean towards classic pieces in wine and florals. I also love heavy fabrics like velvet, which sucks because I live in a hot climate and they're only wearable for a couple of weeks per year.

Er no, that would be impossible. Maybe the other anon's measurements are wrong. If she's a true 32band (which would be her under bust measurement) then her full bust would be a 36inch measurement. Like, there's no other way for someone else to be a 32D and be smaller since the band size is literally the measurement of your ubderbust and a D cup is 4 inches larger. You can't be the same exact bra size with two different full bust measurements in regards to modern day sizing since the variable would be the band size, but the cup sizing itself is a constant of 4 inches to the band size. Not saying your sized wrong but the other anon is probably a much larger cup size and hasn't been fitted properly.

Diff anon but I can see where the confusion is happening. They are talking about using the modern day sizing technique in which it would be impossible to have two girls with the same bra size and have them have different full bust measurements. However, most stores and bra chains don't go by modern day sizing and are stuck with the '+3 or 4 inches to the underbust measurement to get your band size' method which causes a lot of confusion about cup sizing in the modern sizing world lol. So like if you were sized via the modern day sizing and told me you are a 32G (assuming this wasn't your sister size) then I would know your full bust must be around a 40inch bust give or take an inch if you decided to round up an inch on the underbust measurement. But since there's no set standard between chain stores and department stores, it's impossible to guess someone's measurements just based off their bra size, unless you know if they are using the most modern sizing technique.

Well my under bust is actually 29 inches but yeah I'm using the +3. A 30 inch band size is uncomfortable for me because I'm really bony so I get a 32 inch and set it to the tightest band. My full bust is just 36 inches though. A G cup is the only cup size my breasts don't spill out of. It doesn't matter what style of bra it is either. It might be because I have very full breasts though, so sizing gets fucked up.
But I've literally tried on dozens of bras online and in store and have come to the conclusion that a 32G bra fits and supports me the best despite my measurements.
Like I can fit into some of the Angelic Pretty blouses without gaping or popping a button. I might look very chesty in them without a sports bra/minimizer but it fits lol. So there's no way I'm more than 36 inches since most of their max busts are 94cm.

Shirley Temple has multiple sizes, and is cut for children's sizing/preteen bodies hence the bust-waist difference is pretty non-existent. I think their size 160 is something like 84-86cm bust, 72-74cm waist which hangs off most girls with small enough busts to fit

As a kid I used to help my Grandmother make wedding dresses so I'm confident I could make most of these dresses.

The only problem is I'm fairly manly, no one outside my immediate family knows that I used to make dresses and I feel weird about telling anyone that I want to get back into it.

It depends how you're sizing your bras. If you use the +0 method for band (i.e. ribcage measurement=band size) then neither of you should fit into anything with an 89cm bust, as your ribcage measurement alone would be larger than that. If you are using the older +4" method of sizing (which works for some people depending on the fit of the bras you buy and your preferred band fit, but to be honest most people tend to wear bras that are too big in the band and too small in the cup because they don't believe anything over a DD size cup can exist) then I'm guessing your actual ribcage measurement is more like 31-32", which wouldn't cause you problems fitting into an 89cm bust if your full bust measurement isn't over that size. If anon is a 'true' 34A and has a 34" ribcage I imagine that it could be a tight squeeze fitting into something with a 89cm bust, as that means her ribcage is 86cm.
