The wigs look nice

Mars and Venus' wigs are way too thin, plus Venus' hair colour should differ a bit from Usagi.
The sausages on the dresses are way too low.

No way I would spend over 100 bucks for a cosplay wig.

Not bad for bought cosplay, but you can get similar stuff for much less already. People will still eat it up though, they must be making a fortune off all this merch.

That's the best Mercury wig I think I've ever seen.

I think the Venis and Mars wigs probably aren't worth it, but damn the Usagi and Ami ones are a godsend. As for the costumes, I think they're probably the best I've seen as far as bought cosplay goes. The bows alone are way better than anything I usually see on eBay or Taobao. However custom made by someone who knows what they are doing will be better.

Anyways, I love the moon wig and the styling on the Mercury wig (wish it were darker). Everything else is eh.

Eh, but in that episode where Minako takes down Usagi's hair and brushes it out, they look like twins because their hair and eyes are basically the same. But that's not the point. The point is that that Mercury wig is amazing and I'm legitimately surprised.

It's ACOS, I own ACOS stuff. Being official means that they're not going to miss detail or have glaring mistakes/"creative liberties", but their factories are based in China and they generally use VERY cheap fabrics to make their stuff. Their fabric snags easily on just about everything, including your own fingernails. I've gotten skirts from them with rusted snaps. Their sizing is quite loose as well; jackets are roomy and skirts hang long.
What they're good at are custom casting and making accurate replicas of official designs/accessories, since they have access to all the official designs and generally quality checked by staff from the series instead of relying on screenshots and guesswork.

That's is actually really clever, but not worth $140

You can get everything to do this from Arda. Just attach hair ties into their buns or make your own bun like with old tutorials.

The problem I see with the claw clips under the bus like that is weird bulk but they'd be much easier to manage than a wig that is in one piece.

Arda's chibi wig is way too big for me. I have a very small head (chinese wigs fit me very loosely) and I'm way inder Arda's measurement recommendations

Same here. I really wish they would consider doing sizes. If I'm going to drop that much on just a base wig it'd be nice if I didn't also have to alter it.

The Mercury and Jupiter wig are really good. I guess the Sailor Moon wig is good too but honestly I prefer an ash blonde color to the traditional golden blonde-yellowish color.

The wigs are decent for the most part but the costumes are absolutely detestable for the price. I can't imagine anyone seriously buying them for the "quality" more than them just being a status symbol of buying the ~*~official merch~*~

I wonder if this will settle the rift with people being pro or anti skirt pleat. Or the V skirt hem vs. the straight skirt.

Kind of disappointed with Sailor Moon's. Her costume in Crystal is supposed to be blue and pink, not blue and red like in the original anime.

I was excited when I heard about the wigs but I don't know what I think about the SM wig. It looks ok on the display picture but on the worn one it looks pretty "eh".

I've seen so many home made wigs that looks better, except for the buns being the perfect size it doesn't look that much different from the ones you can buy online.

And I sort of shudder at the thought of how they might look when you pick them up from the package, especially if they've been shipped overseas.

Imagine sweaty weebs that knows jack-shit about wig care or styling that are likely going to wear those.

The colour on this ref does seem a little more 'raspberry' than the original true red, but I think the true red suits the traditional hero colour scheme of blue/yellow/red in the end.
