I tried using Dove body soap. Maybe it made a difference? It's hard to tell when I see my armpits nearly every day. It's still kinda dark, but I think it's better off than before.

Sensitive skin soaps, and really good scrubbing. Sometimes its just dirt clogging your pores.

Also there's a skin-lightener called Ambi.

OR not using deodorant. Or using clear-deodorants that are non-scented. Alternatives to deodorant would be baby powder or a baking soda-blend. I tried it for a month in a hot Texas summer and my sweat was actually cleaner and didn't smell badly at all.

Look up herbal deodorants. Usually the powder acts as a natural deodorizer without the chemical burn that some people get from deodorants or the pore blocker the chemicals give. That's usually what causes dirt build-up and pore stank.
