I'm too lazy to take pictures but if I get time I will. It's a nice fit and the lace is really pretty, the sleeves ride up a bit but it's not really a problem. The gold is glittery print. It's really nice. It zips in the back, it gets kinda sticky sometimes but it's not bad. I usually don't zip it anyway since it fits over my boobs just barely. The material is a light chiffon. I think it's slightly see-through, I wear a slip under mine. It is pretty short but if you're used to short dresses it's not really a problem, I always wear mine with a lace skirt though.

Despite what others are saying you don't need to know Chinese to use FS. That being said, I would only use them for basically no maintenance products like in stock items with straightforward options. Stuff like preorders and custom sizing is best to go with a SS. Don't put yourself in a situation where you would have to talk to the seller.

It should be cheaper unless your FS has really shitty or marked up shipping options.

I've used it 3 times with absolutely no problems other than akilya removing two items I ordered from her shop and I got it refunded because it was never shipped. It's at the level where with how much I save it's worth the risk of a different item/low quality/damaged thing coming through. In the same way, just because you had an easy time doesn't mean that it's constant for everyone; from the look of the replies it's more than one person that's had problems, which is why everyone is recommending that you have a way to communicate. It's not always that the items get removed or simple issues like that; tracking numbers get mixed up and at the moment the forwarding service for the US is having some network issues (which may also affect the other forwarding services, since it seems to be an issue with taobao) and things that arrive at the forwarding warehouse might not get marked as arrived. In those cases, you end up having to talk to them to manually create a shipment, and god help you if you can't speak chinese in that situation. I ordered with Bhiner recently and I've had issues with it as well. They'll still charge you domestic shipping for free-shipping stores and then refuse to fix the fee unless you've ordered less than three items from the shop (refunded me for a one-item purchase but refused for a four lightweight purchase) and their express shipping thing hasn't been worth it. What happened to you is pretty unfortunate but I haven't actually seen that many bad reviews of the forwarding service from tb or yoybuy. Yah there are a lot of anons in this thread saying to get someone who is able to use Chinese fluently but I've been all over the tb threads for a while now and most of the actual reviews who posted their experience have been positive. I definitely agree that there's a need for warning but I figured other anons had done that sufficiently enough for me to offer my 2 cents of positive experience.

I believe I used the Zhongshan one and they are really good! They will repackage your items for you and are very accurate about the weight. It's really soft and somewhat stretchy. It will at least stretch to fit fake stuffed animal boobs. I still suggest being able to fit into general free size asian clothes before ordering. The sleeves and overall length are a tiny bit on the short side imo. It's not very thick and wearing a darker color skirt underneath shows through. The part where the top ears are attached to the top of the hole broke apart when I was taking it off so I just safety pinned it back together. It was only held together by a tiny string. Still worth it though.

Bonus: The lucaille nico wig is incredibly disappointing and had horribly assembled pigtails I had to straighten to hell to get to look less dumb but still have some weird underlayer sticking out around the top. I'll likely order another one from somewhere else. If anyone knows any shops with good quality/not too shiny black wigs drop me a line.

Yeah, that's Bhiner Express. It still hasn't reached me. It's either in California or one of the many states between California and the East Coast where I am. It's not really smaller, anon. My package was 1.04kg but they charged me 1.5kg and it was $30 and if I compare that to Yoybuy (which I use often) I could have gotten DHL or EMS for just $5 more and it would've been here already.

Yes, Bhiner's service fee is half that of Yoybuy's but considering they made me pay $3.50 per shop in domestic fees on shops that offered free shipping (and then only refunded me for one shop), I paid the same I would have for Yoybuy service + EMS/DHL shipping.

Skirt is one of the items I was most eager to get and I'm sorely disappointed with it.
The band is okay and the construction is so-so. Cheap satin, more ivory than white. You'll need a small petti to get ANY of the cute poof at all.
The scallops are pretty much see-through, so they show the layer underneath it, which kind of ruins the effect.
It has built-in shorts that are a bit too snug on me, but if you like extra coverage, there's that. You can always cut them out.

The underskirt is quite restrictive. I can fit my CP casual A-line under it but I think any more than that would just over stuff it. The pictures also make it seem like you might get away with using it as a skirt, but the top part has the sheen of underskirt material. In terms of quality, I'd say it's worth the price, though.

So first time using the forwarding service from Taobao and got my stuff safe and sound. (well the first package anyway)

I recommend if you do use the forwarding service you should have some okay chinese skills in case some things come up/general queries (in my case I ordered something that had a two part payment plan and they messaged me about it). OR you want to order custom made things.

I played it safe and ordered things that were all premade in case I fucked up but it went pretty well. The forwarding shipped via DHL and cost me 118RMB for a 1.23kg parcel.

They didn't check my items for me, just received them, stored them, packaged them into a larger bag and sent them off.

Hufflepuff robe and tie cost around $11. I got an XL and it's perfect on me because I wanted it to be large. I'm 5'6" and it's just a few inches above my ankles and the sleeves nearly reach my finger tips. It's not at all heavy but it's not cheap lightweight either since it's lined. The crest is a bit off in color but it doesn't really matter to me. The tie says Hufflepuff on the underside and the robe even has a wand pocket sewn in on the inside left side! I don't know about EMS, but my packages have been weird lately as well. I used aliexpress to buy a whole lot of things on two different dates: Dec 30 and Jan 12. I got some things from the later date way before one from Dec 30 even when they all left china soon after they were paid for. Strangely, a lot of my bigger packages came before the ones that fit in envelopes.

Also, sometimes tracking doesn't update until the day it arrives in my town.

I agree, the taobao sets are definitely pretty cute. The photo frames especially! I did not buy my camera off Taobao, I only brought the film off it. I have not run into any problems but just as a heads up if you're not familiar with the camera. The first film is usually a "test" film so it will not work, so don't worry if it comes out blank.
