Attack on Titan was the cosplay flavour of the con, saw about 6 or 7 people with them but they were all pretty decent I think, there were a few guys who were too out of character for their cosplay (like chubby tall SAO Kirito) but overall wasn't terrible, was an amazing Predator guy who was like 7 ft tall

Yes MCM Dublin, which is a big anime/comic Expo was on in the RDS last year but they moved their dates this year to clash closer with more direct competition instead.

Dublin comic con has a guest or two but not much else, just a hall with some traders. it's the kind of thing you go to for a few hours. It's alright but more a small trade expo than a con. Same as Dublin MCM.

Kaizoku con is on the end of the month in Cork but that pretty soon. It's fun with about 800-900 attendees.

Eirtakon is on in November in Dublin and is our biggest anime con with about 2-3000 attendees.

Then there's the other one's that are decent enough.

I've ordered from them a dozen times now and I always seem to get hit by customs. They charge 23% vat on the items and a 6 or 7 euro fee on top of that so I'd recommend getting a lot of stuff at once, rather than splitting it up and being charged multiple fees. It seems like a lot to pay, but it works out cheaper than having lots of smaller packages stopped by customs. They once tried to charge me twice for the same items because my package got split in two. So just keep an eye out for that too!

I wear Lolita to college most days unless the weather is pure shite or I'm feeling a cosy jumper. Reactions are generally neutral or positive which is great, one of my lecturers is perpetually in awe and since my college is pretty touristy I get the odd photo-stop. I don't wear it everyday (I have two early morning lectures, bad weather, etc.) but yes I could have a different outfit for each day of the week if I wanted.
(I just did a quick count and have about 16 dresses, 2 skirts, 10 tops, 5 cardigans/boleros, 5 pairs of shoes and a few petticoats)- technically I could go at least two weeks with that if I planned carefully and stayed on top of laundry.
Nearly all my dresses are machine washable as well as all my tops, etc. Then naturally I have lots of basics like tights so I don't run out (fyeahlolita is right when she says you need a lot if legwear!).
Most of my stuff is offbrand, Bodyline, Taobao or handmade (I have two brand pieces- both machine washable).
So there you go, I would like to wear it everyday but its not always practical and I like to dabble in Mori so I just stick with 2-4ish days per week.
