There is only one "out" lesbian in MariMite. The rest are either straight or can be read either way. If anyone other than Sei and the girl she loved were gay or bisexual in that show, where is the canon evidence to support it?

MariMite is no more yuri than Free is Boys Love. It caters to people who like slashing girls together for sure, but it's not straight-forward like people make it out to be.

Real "yuri" is anime like Simoun, Aoi Hana, Sasameki Koto, Yuri Kuma Arashi, Shoujo Sect, or the Utena movie. In those anime, the main characters are either "out" as bisexual or gay or end up with another girl at the end. It's not just subtext or reading between the lines in those cases.
