I am actually more repelled by the lack of fleshiness of the makeup. Blush and a little bit of soft pinks/oranges are crucial to making the makeup have definition whereas none makes you look like a corpse. I've seen some of this large eye makeup look nice but you have to have a steady hand and a certain face shape. What is worse is when they use a pencil and they appear to have a black eye.

All I know is what I gathered from the other post.
She post screencaps on tumblr/Instagram. She later on deleted the post because people were agreeing with us.

then on her Instagram she posted a black photo saying " I didn't delete that post because people weren't agreeing with it I deleted it because I realized that I was in the wrong there and that I could take some of the advice the person said so no it's not because people weren't agreeing with it."

But if she is telling the truth, why did she keep all the other screencaps up there and the video. She only deleted the one with negativity on it.

Look, I was posted to 4chan several times. since everyone was rude to me I blew them off as "rude" and "immature girls with cheeto fingers" then, after a while of trying to improve myself, I realized, they were right. Though they did this very rudely they did point out the flaws in my outfit and I realized what could be improved on things.

Since they were so awful to me, I was quick to sweep it under the rug and complain about it online. Its really easy to blow people off when they're so rude. It hurt.

Now I'm going to tell you what I see wrong with it but nicely. I think your makeup skills are pretty good, however, having the white makeup under your eyes looks really off. (I did this myself and I this is one of the things I got posted to 4chan about too!) It doesn't look good on anyone. Try doing it without the white under eye. your makeup is solid but just frame your actual eye next time

critisism is hard to take, especially when people are asswads about it. I know.

Judging by her other cosplay makeups, she's not really skilled with makeup but I want to believe that even though she was upset by this whole ordeal, it served to open her eyes and that she's actually going to put some effort into bettering her makeup.
At least she went from "I like my makeup like this and won't ever change it" to "I know there will be a lot of improvement for my Makishima", so it's a start..? A change of attitude already shows she's willing to try. Maybe I'm too hopeful.

Draw thin lines just above the eyelash, your eyes are big enough so you don't need the "tail" at the corner; but if you must use it, make it subtle and short, also don't connect the line to the lower eyelid, is not necessary. At all.

Her name's Ashley and she dated one of my friends for almost a year, and she was NUTS.

She wanted my friend to marry her ASAP and bitchflipped every time he had to say no. I tried my best on several occasions to explain to her why marrying someone so soon is a reckless and impulsive thing to do, and she'd almost seem like she got what I was saying until she turned around and bitchflipped again. Truth was, she was a textbook narcissist and unable to see any wrong in anything she did.

She had one particular cosplay that she was fond of: Princess Aurora. Her first attempt was a prom dress and a tiara which looked absolutely nothing like Aurora's pink dress. On her second attempt, she bought an Aurora costume that was godawfully made. It made me appreciate the prom dress, tbh, cuz at least that dress looked nice.

She had a thing for doing cosplay that didn't look like cosplay due to being too normal or simple. For most people who do this they know that they're being lowkey and that they won't get attention and they're cool with that, but Ashley is not most people.

She messaged me a selfie of her in a standard, unmodified North Carolina State cheerleading outfit and asked me how many pictures she would get if she wore that to Ichibancon. I was honest and told her probably none, because she's not really being a character, but there was nothing wrong with wearing a cheerleading outfit if she really wanted to. Of course upon hearing that she no longer wanted to wear it and asked me if her other options would get her photos.

Needless to say, she was incredibly unsubtle about her thirst.

I'm concerned that none of these people seem to know what freckles look like. Especially that doll girl, yikes. She looks like she tried to cover her face with fake pimples, not freckles. I have them, and I don't mind when people fake them, but they have to look accurate and good otherwise you've just got dots on your face.

The spots where the sun hits your face the most should have darker freckles. If the character doesn't spend a lot of time in the sun, their freckles should be lighter. Freckles aren't uniform, sometimes they meld together into megafreckles & sometimes there are blank spots with no freckles.

The new makeup looks SOOOO much better! I kind of like it now to be honest. Just gotta ease up a little on the white eyeliner and make the black eyeliner a little smaller, especially on the lower lashline and then she will be pretty set. She needs to use a skin tone liner pencil for the bottom waterline instead of the white and just do a dab of white eyeshadow in the corner of her eyes near the nose.

Overall, seriously good improvement. I love seeing people better themselves.

Thinning the eyeliner and maybe applying a thin strip of falsies to her lower lashline to simulate the way his eyelashes are in the anime, but that might be stretching it.
