So I've had btssb's skirt forever and I never knew what to coord with it. It's always been a really hard piece to wear especially because of that plaid butt flap it has in the back.

I asked coord help but didn't get much help. I LOVE this dress and I don't think it is the hardest piece, but punk lolita can go ita so fast that I'm trying to be really careful with it.

You could always remove the butt flap, but I'd love to see a coord where the flap stays.

This aatp tartan jsk. Especially because the high low bit goes even lower and to a point in the back. Every coord is either not punk enough and makes the dress stand out awkwardly or too punk and tacky looking.

It looks poodle skirt inspired, you could play that up. Go for a comfy short sleeve white or black blouse and a pink foulard? Cannot speak for the plaid buttflap though.

I would like to put together something elegant with Fragrant Rose Memories here, hopefully incorporating brown shoes because my ivory ones are starting to kick the bucket. I'm wondering specifically about an acceptable blouse (if this underdress ends up looking like shit with it, I'm afraid the creams are going to clash) and a headpiece that isn't a bonnet.

I think it's cute as fuck even with the buttflap (it'd be a little boring but admittedly more casual/easy to wear without it.) From your second pic it looks more of a dusty pink? If you play off that muted pink colour or even the tan detail on the front it could work as an interesting palette.

>>8318785
Lots of tartan ITT, which is suprising as its the only print I really like in lolita. Definitely suited to more oldschool or punk coords, pair it with a white blouse, white lace-topped OTKs and big clunky shoes and you'll look put together.

Macaron Tartan Anon here- I love plaid. It's a curse. I also own the AP Candy Bustier JSK and I had trouble coording it too. The problem there though is poor construction. The boning poked through its casing and I don't want to damage any more blouses because of it.

as for the coord itself, punk-y shoes and accessories, and i'd stick with soft pink, white and blue, because black or hot pink would pull you well into the infamous bittersweet territory.

I will check those out! But by "rosary chain" I'm literally talking about the chain, I don't want to wear an actual rosary, specially in a household of Dawkins types. I mean the kind of chain that alternates between links and a (preferably pearl) bead, like pic related. Pearl chokers are also good by me, but the "graduated pearl" look is too 50's which weeds out a lot of choices and none of them have cute details; if there's anything but pearl then it's a big chunk of rhinestones.

>>8322225

I want Innocent World kinda things. Dainty pearl + ribbon or high quality lace chokers, cute charm necklaces that actually space out the charms instead of letting them all hang together in an ugly lump. The pitfall I'm seeing so much classic etsy jewelry fall into right now is that it's too much. I'm not looking for a "statement necklace".

Same anon, missed this post.

Cameos are fine, but if it's on a choker I want it to be <1inch preferably, part of a design possibly involving lace or pearls (so not just lonely on a chain) and not have some huge metal filigree thing going on.

On a longer necklace I'm OK with frames being more elaborate, but I'd like the chain to be both interesting and symmetrical. There are some cute long ones that have beading only up one side of the chain and it just doesn't... invoke the illusion of vintage or antique, I guess.

>> No.8323695

>>8322363
Honestly, since this is a somewhat iconic print, I'd say keep things simple. It doesn't have to be casual or OTT, it can just be normal lolita? A pair of white socks or tights and hot pink shoes, a plain wig or twintail wig in brown or blonde, a pink headbow with some small hot pink and white bows thrown in for accent, and some white wrist cuffs would be perfection to me.

Funny, the shop will be mostly centred around that theme. Well, it's nature-themed for the most part, but I was planning on something minimal and having a 'classics' line alongside it. So I'm definitely taking that into consideration! Your suggestions are right up my alley.
