Also to have everything be the same color is kind of dangerous because it all might be a slightly varying shade and look off (unless you already have everything and know it matches) I think the shoes will probably be fine but the tights and hat are a stretch. Maybe have tights that have some type of burgundy accent as well as a hat that matches the main color of the tights.

I'm having this same problem. Putting together a military-sailor coord and having trouble deciding on shoes/legwear.

I want to do ankle/crewsocks because of how hot it is right now, and boots wouldn't go well with that... I'm thinking strappy RHS right now but I almost feel that's a bit of a copout because I feel like most sailor coords I see use RHS. I usually like to wear classy normalfag heels in my coords but I feel they don't suit the look, too delicate and dainty. Very undecided right now, so shoe inspiration would be great too if there are any examples with interesting footwear.

I've receieved plastic rosaries as party favors when I've attended quinceaneras and anniversary parties. The ones I received probably had to be cheap since they were given to so many, but they were very pretty and they were given as a gesture of good faith by deeply religious Catholics. I'm don't think that a religious object being made of plastic is insulting--it probably helps make it more accessible to many.

That doesn't mean I support or believe the ideologies of any of those countries. I just love history in general and think it's interesting to have a physical piece of that history. It's also pretty cool when some one can incorporate that into something like Lolita fashion. Some of you just need to calm down

Honestly these pieces really don't leave much room to coord around. You can add a hat, choose nice tights/socks, shoes and maybe some necklace, shoulder chain or medal.
