Well I mean even someone with a little gut could mask it with a decent waist cincher. I dont think fat cosplayer need to limit themselves to only fat characters and that thicker girls are a good choice too. It is all about knowing how you carry your weight and then identifying designs that would work with it. So if your arms are big maybe no tank tops or strapless dresses. Or if you have bigger legs then go for characters with long skirts or at least black tights to minimize the size. Obviously a fat cosplayer will never be 'prefect' but if the costume is chosen with their shape in mind and well made they can at least look decent even for their size.

I'm not fat but I don't have a flat bikini stomach either, and my thighs are really muscular from softball so I don't always feel comfortable cosplaying super skinny characters, but I am very small chested so its frustrating to try and find characters whose bodies I feel comfortable pulling off :/

My best suggestions for girls shaped like me is to find shows where the art makes them look kind of squishy (like K-On! for example). That way if you're just a little chubby in the legs or tummy (not fat, but just not super thin) it still works, and there's bound to be someone with normal sized tits

Look up how drag queens do it. If I remember correctly, they tape and use a couple of 'chicken cutlets'(those fake silicone boob inserts.) Has anyone here ever tried XLS-medical? I heard it makes you nauseous which would actually be great for me since there's no way I'll stop myself from binge eating without direct repercussions.
Uni made me stress eat even more then usual and I lost all weight loss process I had and hten some, so I want to work my ass off this summer.

Hopefully by next year I'll feel confident enough to cosplay.

Binge eating happens to most people who don't eat breakfast or lunch and then they stuff their faces in their last meal and can't control what they eat because their body is hungry as hell.

Stress doesn't always cause binge eating. Stress causes boredom which causes someone to snack a lot throughout the day. Or not eat all together. Im guessing they are confusing binge eating to eating multiple times during the day out of boredom and not so much because they are hungry because they haven't eating anything else because they are busy.

There is a huge distinction between not eating all day so you binge at the end of it and eating constantly. Im an 100% sure it is the latter because this is the most common thing amongst college students. That and not eating all together.

You only really gain weight if you binge every single damn time you eat. If you are not eating until the very end of the day and over eat, it won't be that big of an impact. Especially how anon is talking about their gain. You body will still use the nutrients eaten. Unless they are binging every meal, which I doubt because college student, I don't see how binging it the issue with their weight gain and instead being busy and eating constantly is a higher possibility. Whether they even realize that or not.

How do people work out if you live a busy life style? I work in child care, work 8am till 6pm Monday to Friday, exhausted after work I come home and shower because I deal with kids shitting their pants and all that fun stuff. Weekends I am so exhausted after a week of work I can barely move then rinse and repeat. I gave gained almost 20lbs since starting this job (not eating enough or right. No time to do anything for myself let a lone exerse) how. I want to loose weight but it's just not possible with my job.

I work retail 6 days a week and work shifts that are between 7 and 14 hours. I get a 1 hour break for every shift over 8 hours long. I'm a fucking landwhale, yet since I've had this job my weight is steady. I eat like shit* but because of what I work I don't gain. Working the hours you claim you work likely takes some of the need for exercise away so if you eat right you should find it dead easy to slim down.

She sounds like she doesn't have time to eat normal meals and thus eats a huge meal at the end of the day or eats a lot of little things throughout which is causing her weight gain. Binging one meal at the end of the day shouldn't contribute that much to weight gain. However, eating multiple little snacks throughout the day is a more likely reason. 100% guarantee they do not have an eating disorder.
