It'd be a lot easier with an English translation.

http://www.japanesesewingbooks.com/japanese-sewing-terminology-a-list-of-translated-terms/

there's a ton of reference sites
just print these out and write down the terms onto them

i know it's a stupid question but, how do I get the pattern into the fabric?
do I just start drawing using the pattern as a reference?

I'm used to step by step patterns or video tutorials

but all I can think when i see patterns like this is opening photoshop and make a file of the size (cms or inches) indicated copy paste the pattern and make it as big as the canvas size then print full scale hahah

You could always do that, save as a pdf, and then take it to a print shop that specializes in blueprints for architecture and get it printed cheaply b&w on thin paper for cheap. A print shop near me does 36 x 60 laser printing for about tree fiddy a sheet.
