I've had a problem with a particular UK 'Tog' lately called Smile250
He does videos and recently photos (that he copies the style of other photogs like an unoriginal shit) which aren't bad in UK standards but his attitude towards other togs that don't follow him like sheep is horrendous. He copies memes from other more popular and skilled videographers because he wants to suckle on some of their fame. He's competitive as fuck and gets so damn salty when someone else is better and when cosplayers prefers another tog than him, trying to act all high and mighty because he got sponsored by a failed app. He's so thirsty as well and outright refuses males/crossdressers and especially hints for asian cosplayers. But that may be because he wants the view/likes.

It is so much harder to shoot cosplayers who are not professional models, and don't know how to pose, which is most of them.
Also, the location, most of them are at conventions, shooting at conventions is a hell hole, and everyone only let you shoot for half an hour to an hour at max, so you really don't have time to settle yourself and get inspired

Of all the cosplay photographers I'm friends with (and there's a lot because photographers naturally start talking to other photographers) the only ones I see mentioned here, either positively or negatively, are the After Dark guys. Once you realize just how many photographers there are out there you understand that no one is going to go after you unless you really fuck up.

I'd heard bad things about Seai photography in the GTA but decided to work with her about half a year ago. It was a paid shoot, never got any photos back. Sort of want to chew her out but idk if its even worth it. Just makes me mad that she has the nerve to take money and not return anything.

I know a few girls do feel a little more comfortable with a female photographer but I feel like I get approached for photo shoots from cosplayers with more modest cosplays.
