They actually sell that in the con's cafe. Otakuthon is pretty fun, and the location is great especially if you're cosplaying (the cosplay crowd is pretty big). Panels are average, the rave is so-so, the exhibition hall is pretty good but similar to AN's. So it depends on what you tend to do at cons.

One thing I learned from Canadian dealers' rooms: if you're buying figures, buy from Navito World. Otherwise, you're almost certainly buying fakes.

The people who buy fakes are mostly casuals who are completely unaware that bootlegs exist or don't care because "lol im not a millionair guiiiiz".

Next year, I hope some of you do your part in reporting these pieces of shit to the con staff instead of just complaining elsewhere after the con. Otherwise, they'll continue to flood the dealers' room and take spaces away from legit dealers.

The thing about figs at cons is that they are either bootlegs or second hands figs/open boxes while being 50% overpriced. That said, norwadays bootlegs can look so well made that sometimes it's hard to tell if it's one or not. Also, most of their stock are not even rare which is stupid to drop 160$ on a fig who's worth 90$ (while being unboxed most of the time). If you are really into figs like me, you just buy/preorder them online at oficials sealer.

My friend bought a mini figs for like 20$ saturday while I wasn't with him. Told him it's a bootleg just by the price n shit and if not got for his health to own bootlegs because there's lead in the paint of bootlegs. He told me afterward that he don't care and he's happy. WTF seriously.
