I'm super hyped for it. Last year was fun, and they've only expanded it this year. I may or may not wear a mediocre cardboard Rensouhou chan for the kantai meetup.

The only thing that confuses me is the fact that friday has no touhou cosplay meetups, and that the selection of non touhou meetups is very... Peculiar. Also, a macrophilia panel. Literally why.

Friday - Opening ceremonies, Sunao-Banpai Akira-Shinoasa panel, Ideolo panel, maybe a bit of Touhou lunatic theatre before the Yuuhei Satellite's panel, then TAM and Akai Ryuusei's concert, Rika Muranaka's panel, then maybe Takahiro Hojo's panel or Touhou night parade.

Saturday - Marasy's panel, Kozou's panel, Gensokyo Radio, TAM and Akai Ryuusei's panel, Minoshima-ARM-Redalice concert, then a break before Komeji's records, then Yuuhei Satellite's concert. Then the 18+ dance with Minoshima, ARM, and Redalice.

Sunday- Rika Muranaka music theory, Marasy's other concert, then maybe a tale of two wikis or the charity auction then the closing ceremonies.

Hype. Hopefully all of these panels are good and the concerts are great. I wonder if anyone is actually going to skip the concerts to go to the 18+ macrophilia panels and stuff

it's a very focused convention. they had a little over 500 attendees last year. surprisingly enough, almost half and half in terms of gender split. if you don't like touhou or are not open to what touhou is then you may not be the right target audience.

I was joking around about the /cgl/ street blowjob Momiji. It was just a poke at one of the seagulls who posted pictures of himself in a Momiji cosplay squatting next by a street lamp in the middle of the night. So yeah, that probably doesn't exist.

/jp/ doesn't do meetups or crossplay sex(probably; jp despises meetups).... and "TOUHOU ORGY WHEN?!" is just one big joke that is stated every year at every single con.. occasionally people even send out posters, craiglist ads, ect for a orgy gathering as a joke but it probably never happens. Probably.

A lot of Touhou fans are pretty desperate though, I think? When I talk to 2hu fans online, a lot of them tend to be kinda crazyish. Raped as a child, abused, suicidal, PTSD, MTF, psychopathic, ect. They're all very.... interesting and peculiar people?

Odd question but, does anybody know who the girl cosplaying Lyrica Prismriver was last year?

I keep thinking of Lunasa(Because best sister), but I distinctly remember her wearing red. I think she was staffing too, but only showed up for one day then disappeared.

Her cosplay was pretty good, anybody have any idea who it was? I was too lazy to research last year, but now that this year's con is coming up I was suddenly reminded of it because she was the only cosplayer I didn't get a picture of.

There could also be a possibility she just switched cosplays. My ability to recognize people when they change clothes is terrible(I have terrible facial recognition and poor eyesight), I remember last year I took a picture with one chick 3 times when she was wearing different cosplays and I thought it was a different person each time... Damn, that self doubt at the registration desk. I only bought 2 badges and they told me I had 3, and I was like..... ???. At that point, I was thinking , "Did I buy an extra fucking badge for no reason? I remember I said I would buy a badge for my friend.... did I? It's been like a year.. But he bought his own badge, so this is useless." Then they cleared it up, and apparently I wasn't a retard who accidentally bought 3 badges.

Also, some spooky supernatural shit when on when I was sitting with my friends on the floor above the registration floor. My friend and I both noticed this odd girl who kept walking around in wide circles on the floor, like from one end of the floor to the other(and got really fucking close, then would twist her head and walk away) for 2-3 rounds. Only one of my other friends noticed her because two of them had their backs to her, but where I saw a girl with black hair wearing a black sweater and orange hotpants, my friend saw a blonde girl wearing a trenchcoat.

I have to say, I'm really enjoying this con. I don't even play the damn games and know close to diddly squat about the characters, but friends told me to come because the concerts would be amazing. I was not disappointed. Karaoke is always a joy for me so it was good to see this con offering it too.

Pretty great. A little disorganized; almost every good panel/concert/dance was 45 mins-1 hr 30 mins late. But the guests were great, the con is cheap, and all the panels were rather interesting. If you like Touhou, you'll absolutely want to go for the GoH. I wouldn't be surprised if next year, they charge money for the concerts.

I'd say it was 9/10. Only problem were that some staffers are kinda rude and the timing wasn't on-point.(I'm saying "some staffers were rude" as secondhand knowledge; I thought they were all polite, efficient and rather funny. They might have been on edge due to last year's scandal, so everybody was kind of stiff. Though, this could be just bias because I usually volunteer for cons and I knew many of the staffers).
