Okay so I'll be blunt here and that my first set of Lolita items (Petticoat, shoes, tights, wig, and two dresses) will be coming from Bodyline. Sorry that I don't have money to spend on $400+ dresses that I'll need to have custom measurements for anyways. Also, coordinating an outfit isn't *that* difficult, guys.

But upon looking through the Lolita lifestyle and culture... I noticed a few things. From jealousy, to brand whores, to this infamous 4chan board (and I thought /b/ was horrid, and I main in it) and of course, Behind the Bows.

Is the community fine, or is it really just a cesspool full of young women (and some men of course) who enjoy being rabid assholes to one another.

My local comm is the biggest hugbox I've ever seen and we still get people (who've never even heard of /cgl/) declaring us all evil elitist bullies because someone at a meet up said that they, personally, prefer BtSSB over Bodyline or F+F. Without even insulting anyone. Just an opinion.

For any actual newbies itt: don't waste your time with bodyline unless there's a sale/promotion. They've gotten way overpriced and there's better options out there (like taobao, don't assume im a ~brand whore~)
