I received some of my order today, but that Kimono set-thing came without the Kimono. You can choose between Skirt only, Kimono only, and set on the page and I obviously chose the set. Just messaged the seller and hope they'll send me the missing item - how are your experiences with partially wrong / missing orders?

all that "destination country" means is that they're copying this tracking information from the tracking website of your country's local postal service. You can see below that that they've copied it from the chinese postal service site as well, under "origin country".
And yeah aliexpress purchases really arent something where you should be obsessively checking the tracking information: unless you specifically purchased express shipping expect it in a month absolute minimum from when you bought it but even that's unlikely. The item listing should have a shipping time estimate for country next to where you select your shipping method. Either way just be patient, keep an eye on your purchase protection time and you'll be fine

I know sometimes I've gotten really lucky with timing or found sellers who somehow use weirdly speedy (well, relatively speaking) shipping but yeah, for future reference the timing estimates on the listings themselves are usually pretty accurate. And aliexpress in general is really good with refunding orders that dont arrive, so I usually try not to worry and just extend protection as long as it's within (or fairly close to) the estimated timeframe.

For the past two weeks I've been checking aliexpress and all of the usual sellers recommended by this thread. Check out your usual favorite sellers feedback, one of my sellers i ordered from almost a dozen times at this point went from 99.5% feedback to 96% in roughly two weeks. I'm feeling that aliexpress is hitting the "normie" market nowadays through tumblr and facebook and people get upset when they dont get their items in a week or less. Which would be my only guess to explain such a dip in feedback. If this bothers you, then perhaps hold off on your orders if your sellers went from such a drastic dip.

Cover earrings with nail polish. It prevents tarnish and irritation. Do two coats.
After wearing 4-5 times check to see if it needs a touch up.

This isn't really safe to do either. Covering metal that isn't going in a piercing is fine, but once the polish starts to chip, and it will eventually, it becomes a really nice place for bacteria to live in.

Unless you stripped and re-applied the nail polish every time, which will probably end ruining the earrings, this comes with a decent risk of infecting your ears.
