I was debating whether to post this in Help or here, but I'll post here first, I guess.

So I want to buy these boots for the Love Live Cheongsam cosplay, and I see three different types of boots, A for leather(?), B for suede, (and thick suede)? I understand it's different material, but can someone tell me pros/cons for each before I order?

I'm kind of cheating for most of these using just accent colours (I just don't really like orange and yellow honestly)
Also, Elizabeth from FGO is an idol in game so... it counts. And both middle row Mikumo's are pretty interchangeable as they both have blue and purple in either outfits. Oh well!

Orange was literally scrapping the bottom of the barrel. I have so many red, blue, & white cosplays I want to do, it was hard to pick!
Yellow is kinda cheating since she's primarily a magical girl, but she's also an idol.
All the Kotori's are the live versions. I have all the fabric for Mogyutto now and I can't wait to start.

I literally love Walkure so much, if they ever come to my country I'd probably die haha.
I'd LOVE to do Freyja but I feel i'm too tall for her. I don't really mind as I love Mikumo equally. And the 2nd live promo art is so gorgeous, I was thrilled when I found it. I can't wait to make the skirt portion!

Just cosplay her anyway! Technically, I'm too chubbs for Freyja but I still cosplay her haha. If I was to cosplay to my bodytype, I should definitely be cosplaying MakiMaki. But I'll only do that if I get a cute ReiRei to join me <3

I honestly tried not to love live this much but most outfits I want to make from other idol games are either green, purple or pink (or have too many colors to the point where I can't just choose one that is dominant)

I just got my SSR Mika cosplay from Bruce Huang on AliExpress and everything is really well made and fits well. If anyone's looking for stores that sell Deresute outfits, this seller has plenty. I'm impressed

Do they do custom sizes? I've got a janky body where the top and bottom never to match up and height is usually a problem with skirts being super short

Jw have you ever had cosplays off Ali not arrive like the pictures? That's what's always scared me off Aliexpress cosplays, because I don't know who's actually selling good cosplay and who's just using the top Taobao store pictures. At least with Taobao, even if it takes more work, I can do my research and see if the shops are legit.

This is my first time buying cosplay off of AliExpress too. It's because I wanted to do a Mika cosplay that wasn't Tulip, and AE was the only place that had a wider variety.

I've ordered from Ali twice and I've never had any problems. Mostly just look for the store ratings and look at the kinds of reviews they have, that's a pretty good way to judge if they're safe or not.

Starlight stage spent cover the original girls as a heads up, and as someone who owns a handful of the games I wouldn't recommend it unless you resign yourself to the fact that there will be a very steep learning curve getting into them in terms of how their gear works - you're going to get your ass kicked a lot. And you won't be able to understand that conversations when you interact with the girls.
If you have a PSP try to pirate shiny festa as its a rhythm game and the closest we've had to localisation. Shame it was shit ass expensive on the iOS.
The anime and movie are worth checking out and the lives are fantastic.

Yes and no. On one hand you're adding to that oversaturation that drives people crazy, but on the other hand you're not taking yourselves seriously like some groups do in order to try and be the best (and sometimes genuinely think they are) when they're actually more like mediocre.
