Hello, I'm relaatively new to lolita fashion (been wearing it for the last six months). There is only one person I know irl who used to wear it (now she can't fit her dresses anymore), so I'd like to discuss lolita fashion with some gulls. I would also enjoy advice from a more experienced lolita.

For a success story - I've made a close-knit group of really chill friends that I hang out with on the norm from these threads. We were all awkward at first and truthfully there isn't THAT much overlap in our interests. Ive learned a bit since then. While it held together pretty well with yarn of all things, it was hot that day and slowly broke apart. Just followed an instructable really.

Ive since tried making similar armor with eva foam which is horrible when putting together (lot of chipping paint) and do plan on making something that would work better. Id probably use a plastic garbage can and use that since itd hold a lot better.

While the eva foam version looked horrible, I do think it could be used towards my advantage if i tried making the Shugoki armor from for honor since it is wood and has a weathered look. Dunno, trying to make something else right now.
