Most of the coords I do tend to be casual especially since I'm more of an old school lolita. I just put minimal accessories, keep it simple (pink x white, black x white, pink x blue,...)

Ehh no. I honestly don't like it, sneakers even cute brand ones just don't work with the lolita aesthetic to me. But I've seen good coords with them. I'm just not a fan. For the sandals it depends on how they look and for god's sake no socks in them, unless they're those open toe lolita sandals maybe.

Yes. A flowy blouse from normie shops, usually cotton, cutsews, plain black or white t-shirts with sleeves very tight.
For weekends I wear jsks, replicas, or just skirts that are easy to coord.
On weekdays I wear mostly Gothic skirts.

For those not familiar - separate style from lolita, though there is a lot of crossover, and sometimes items from one style can be used in a coordinate from the other style. Westerners sometimes confuse otome with casual lolita because it can look like toned-down lolita and has similar aesthetics (including print themes and accessories), but in general it does not have the silhouette rules that lolita does, and coordinates tend to be less matchy-matchy.

Yes, I'm a "daily lolita" and it's 90% of what I wear I'd say. I wear sweet so it's a lot of cutsew + ap mini skirt coords for me, I also love sack dresses and cutsew OPs.

I do it all the time, but only with certain pieces. Chiffon pieces tend to drape nicely with or without petti, but a regular cotton dress often looks weird and deflated without. I have varying sizes and tend to go for a smaller one for casual stuff. For meets I pretty much always wear a full petticoat, though, it is more proper.

A lot of my outfits are basic coords that belong in >>9431914, but I'm starting to get into casual as well. Cutsews/sweaters/hoodies and skirts or simple OPs, natural hair, less make-up, no novelty bags. If I'm wearing a JSK and cardigan I'd consider it toned-down but not casual.

I wish it was, but I can see why it isn't. I post to CoF pretty regularly and whenever I post a casual coord it gets a fraction of the likes my others do, even when the photography and lighting is good. A lot of my casual outfits don't even make 100 likes, when my standard coords get 300-400 and basic usually gets 120-270.

I am part of the minority that actually really likes sandals, but I think bare feet look pretty disgusting. The West can't seem to get over the idea that socks and sandals looks bad so I don't think they'll ever take off here. Kind of a pity since plastic shoes make your feet so sweaty and brand sandals with ankle socks are kawaii as fuck in summer. Sneakers can be okay a tiny percentage of the time, but most sneakers don't work (it's usually best when there's some fairy kei/deco/punk crossover in the coord).

It really depends on the dress. There are oldschool pieces that look totally fine without one, but modern lolita cuts don't look lolita without a petti even on the rare occasions they don't look bad without one. When I wear oldschool babydolls/whatever without a petticoat they still look 100% lolita, but even though I can wear some of my modern IW without one I think it ends up not looking like lolita any more. I don't think recent miniskirts and salopettes that can't fit a petti (pic related) are really lolita either, but I like them a lot and think they should be allowed on CoF (they're more closely related than ouji and aristo are IMO).

I've never been into lolita but there's a lot of crossover between goths and lolita so sometimes casual goth-wear is lolita-esque (Like the skirts in OP) so I've been wearing casual lolita by accident since I was in middle school apparently.

I think casual lolita is better as a biased non-lolita-loving-person since a lot of people i see doing lolita are in their 20s and uggo as hell. You gotta be cute AF to pull it off. Casual lolita is more accessible and i wish more people would do it.

This one I don't like as much but generally speaking I love swdpunk's coords, and the ones posted by the other Oregon girls too. I sometimes go back and look at them for nostalgia's sake, it inspires me even if I don't aim to actually emulate their looks, it's the "feeling" of their coords that I love.
