Hey guys, do you have any tips on how to make my face look femenine?

I've seen videos of drag queens and crossdressers, but they look too exagerated and complex, I just want my face to look girly without exagerating facial features. Thanks in advance

Look up videos about contouring and notice the difference between female and male contouring. Females have a softer jaw line, thinner nose, and usually larger, pink lips, where men have strong jaw lines, large noises, and usually thin, pale lips. Mainly just look at female makeup tutorials and emulate what you see.

That's part of the reason why it's a meme, you can't cover the parts that are distinctly male; i.e. passing as Shimakaze is really hard. (But I personally didn't care. It's fun anyway.)
But I have to say that for me (a male, if it wasn't obvious) the thong strings just stayed up on their own. I had to pull them back up over the hip bones from time to time, but overall it worked fine. (More information: I didn't use a thong but just sewed two strings to the top of the skirt. They have to be under a bit of tension, of course, when you wear the skirt.)

I think you have to take the plunge in yourself. Get them to pick a foundation in your skin tone, along with eyeliner and abit of contour and blush. Then go home and youtube videos on female makeup and practice practice practice. Unless the makeup store people are really bored and very skilled. It is unlikely they will give you a full makeover on someone they are not used to working on.

Plus a wig really makes a huge difference.

If the scars aren't massive and bright red they shouldn't be an issue. I doubt they are since you seem to take care of them.
Make sure the free edge of your nail is decently long, that generally looks more fem, and make sure they're nicely taken care of, even if not painted. If they are painted, you can go wrong with a french pink or a nude colour

High chance pencil won't do anything either unless it's got a cream finish and you layer it on. Use the glue stick method and draw fake brows instead- Look it up on youtube. Drag Queen tutorials are great for glueing brows, Trixie Mattel's technique is really solid.

Makeup is designed to not fuck up your eyes.
They test that by putting some amount in a bunnies eye (or a different animal without tear glands) and flushing it after a few minutes.
The only thing that is potentially harmful is fungi contamination if you store it in unsuitable conditions for extended periods of time.

If you're not doing a cosplay which will show your bikini line (no swimsuits etc), just don't shave your bikini area. Trim it down with scissors and a comb or an electric shaver instead. It's not compulsory.

Saying this as a grill, because I've tried all the tricks in the book over the years but every time I fully shave my bikini area my hair ingrows and it becomes really itchy and painful. If you've naturally got coarse/curly hair or hair that's prone to ingrowing anyway, it's not worth doing unless it's really necessary. Re: the shaving razor burn, are you using a moisturizing shaving cream (or even conditioner) and a fresh razor?

Advice for shaving and preventing beard shadow please? I always shave my legs with a razor but it looks REALLY bad after some hours (when they start to grow again)

I've started using an epilator. Hurts like hell the first few times but totally worth it in the end.

Currently in Tokyo and it's surprisingly hard to find the outfits I want. Visited a few shops in Akiba but none of them stocked any maid outfits apart from character-specific ones.

Has anyone here ever worn a full ballgown before?

Are they heavy? Is it hard to walk around in if you're not used to it? Do you have to left up the skirt to walk properly, or is that something only old dresses have an issue with (due to advancements in crinoline)

Is it hard to move around in a dress like this? Is it hard to reach past the width of a dress? Is it hard to tie down, or does it depend on the material used?

It wouldn't be hard to securely tie their torso and I doubt ropes would slip off because they would be held in place by the contours of the body, not friction. The issue is that they are indeed ridiculous to wear and the bottom half of a ballgown like that might even have a wood crinoline.

If you tried to tie around the crinoline it would crumple and/or start fragmenting into pieces regardless of whether it was made of wood or wire.

It's not necessarily heavy, just incredibly unwieldy due to the structure and layers of fabric covering it.

My measurements are 77-60-83cm, or ~30-24-32inches, and I've been finding that the major setbacks for me are height and shoulder width, as well as the obvious difference between bust measurement and chest. Sounds real nice for you to be 5'3 though.

If this is the outfit you're going for, it can get troublesome, but possible. The lifted skirt will help making your hips wider with no effort. You should cinge properly to give shape to the waistline. The bangs cover and shape most of your face, but do learn how to shade and contour your jawline. What is a real pain there are the bare shoulders. If you practice posing sideways as in pic related, you can get them to look nice in some pictures, though.

I think androgynous sounds perfect for the character. Make-up takes lots of practice, so start watching tutorials right away. It won't take a lot for this character, mostly natural tones, but you want to get that bit right.

Your nose is a bit wide, but nothing devastating, especially considering the stronger pigmentation.
The glasses make it somewhat hard to tell, but it looks like you will have to do a lot of work on your eyebrows - or at least as much as you can without your family and friends calling you out for it.
Overall I'd say good potential. Bodyshape will determine what kind of clothes you should use to help that along.

Your lower face is really good materials. Pluck your brows or learn to glue them down, then go for foundation that matches your skin tone. Contour your nose to make it look more narrow (although I think the angle of this picture also makes it look worse than it is). As for body hair, you can just epilate the parts that will be visible. Details depend on the character, of course.
