I love the tank top/skirt combo. The shirt has enough detailing on it that it fits in. The top matching the tights and the skirt matching the shoes looks perfect to me.

Only thing I dont like about this coord is the ageplayish accessories like the necklace. And I'm saying this as someone who loves OTT sweet. I just never enjoyed the gross baby themes Dreamy Baby Room or things of that nature.

I do feel that there are two types of lolitas, though: fashion lolitas, who are focused on the fashion and experimenting with their look, and community lolitas, who find lolita cute and comfy and want to meet and have fun experiences with other girls dressed the same. That's the thing though--really outlandish choices only work if someone has a foundational understanding of the fashion first. So if it's babby's first coord and they're making outlandish choices, even if they don't outright look terrible, people will probably make comments to steer the person in the right direction. If someone who is efamous for their coord quality and tenure in the fashion does something outlandish, as long as they still look good the comments stop because people KNOW they know the "right" way to do things, and they're just having fun with design choices and rulebreaking.
