I am on the vetting discord server and it has become 90% of my online lolita experience. People give updates on brands or taobao or you can share good taobao shops.
There are specialty topics (make-up, gossip, coords, crafts, just to name a few) and events, so it never gets boring.
I get along well with almost all members, they are very civil, especially compared to cgl anons.
There's a variety of people there, so if you are not a shit stirrer, you should be able to get along well, too.

Discord is a pretty nifty lightweight chat application. You can run it on desktop, browser, or iphone/android. Think Skype before Skype sucked donkey balls. It was originally created with gamers in mind but it's pretty intuitive for a lot of different groups to have discussion and organization.

I don't mean to sound like their PR spokesperson lol I just really like Discord. I've lived through AOL, MSN, Yahoo, Skype, etc and this is the only one I've been so satisfied with.
