However, the bow on that wig is fucking awful and looks like it was styled with cumrags. So at the very least I don't think this anon knew much about styling wigs.

The person I initially responded to said that a non-cosplayer is not allowed to have an opinion about a cosplay, so even if you restructured my examples to say "i like this food/music/plot" instead of "this food/music/plot is good" I think the point would still stand. Unrealistic hairstyles are always difficult to pull off especially when they defy physics like this one does. I imagine that it's using a wire frame for the basic shape then using a crapton of hair glue to keep the hair in place giving it the sticky appearance. Compared to most Tsuyu wigs the size and shape of the bow are much closer to the actual character.

I found this one and like it a lot. I’m not sure how it would actually play out but I have always thought that attaching the bow to the back of the costume and having the ends of the wig (tied together) pinned to the underneath it might work. That way the wig isn’t weighed down. However, the costume might be, so using a harness underneath the bodysuit to attach the bow to (through a hole) would be good.
The bow is such a stupid design choice anyways. Idk how it’s frog related or a good-looking addition to an already interesting design.

Native here. Most of the people on the Rez get money from the casinos where I live. They don’t need to work when the state gives them land, a house and a truck every 7 years. They have a choice to get a actual job, build their own house tax free on the land, or move from it. No one forced them to stay there and it’s entirely their choice. Many work in the casinos and move off the land to a apartment or trailer. It’s just the ones that want to be lazy and cry about how their heratage is ruined by the white man. Many also are hoarders and extreamly overweight.

I’m glad my parents decided to earn a living and go to college to not be stuck on the Rez. It is not a place I would call easy living. But where I live, there isn’t multiple families in one house. It’s just families that have lived in the same house for years and haven’t taken care of it. There are people that take care of their rez home. But they are as common as the hoard messes all over the land they “respect”. They are not very in touch with their heratage and you couldn’t get much other the. “ my mom makes fry bread for Christmas” from them for traditional life.

Just look up the insta user to see it all. Commissioner ended up refunding in full. The outfit cost $140 AUD to begin with from what I could tell. Unless I am missing something, that's fucking peanuts and amounts to about $100 USD. It's no wonder it turned up looking like shit. Not that it warranted the commissioner putting together absolute garbage, because unless it was advertised that way it should show up looking like her own work, but the buyer should maybe have realized the price was too good to be true as well.
