It's interesting, you can see some of the influences coming through, like the harmonious colour palette, the teddy bear "border print" and the bib design.

I agree that the waist is too low for a person this small (a large person would need a lower waist, but that's to compensate for the chest to maintain the correct proportions and silhouette, and that's another discussion for another thread). But the shape doesn't bother me nearly as much as the sleeves, lace, and sloppily-attached pockets. There's actually a lot of fairly decent burando drop-waist dresses out there, if she wants to copy off them.

Proportions for >>9932951 just looks wrong, though. Like the waist isn’t even actually dropped, it doesn’t flare out to follow the hips or allow a petticoat, it’s just a wonky bodice shape. The sleeves look too short compared to the shoulder width, they look more like 3/4 sleeves. Which, if accurate, makes the skirt extremely short and normie if they’re coming from waist and not actually from the hips.

If it’s an actual fatty, they’re in for a surprise anyhow. A dropped waist emphasises a shapely torso, normally you’d use it for someone who has an hourglass shape, or is just taller (and shapely). Someone who is fat might prefer **burando** drop-waist dresses because they’re bigger all around, including up-and-down as well as side-to-side, but if you can sew your own shit rather than relying on pre-made bodice length, why would you stick to a dropped waist jsk rather than use a more flattering just-waist jsk shape? The latter will cover up belly fat much more effectively, the former is to show off that you have little or no belly fat, that’s why you’re proudly showing off your front all the way to your hips.

I've discovered a few tricks and different methods for downplaying broad shoulders. You might benefit from a diagonal seam toward the neck--like a raglan, but maybe less pronounced--with a poof sleeve to "absorb" the extra shoulder. And the magic of shirring is magic. It would help to see it on you and not on the dressform, especially if your body type is as weird as you claim.

Today's AP release for some reason has 90cm waists and you can see how they don't sit quite right on the dress forms. I think the Mercator release was the one where the bodices were actually longer than usual, and you can see them wrinkle where the waist hits the dress form's torso.

None of them really look as "off" as this homemade though -- if you thought the shoulder width looked wide, look closer, she's actually curved them outwards, so her shoulders are apparently even wider than it appears on this dress form.

Could be for someone weirdly proportioned, but idk, with all the other sewing mistakes mentioned it seems like the whole dress is a sewing mistake.

Heavy really depends on your body. I'm 65kg and I can't hold much fat due to medical issues beside on ass and breast. My hair is very similar too. Easily looks like this. Using oil fixes the easy messy hair going all ways thing. Using barber shampoo and conditioner instead of drugstore ones makes it much more healthy looking.

I personally like to due it to get a more deep colour, but that's by no means necessary. If you do, keep track of your roots and know that highlights will fade between other hairs making it more like the lines in marble than straight lines. Not necessarily bad but good to know.

It's a type of thick hair that looks like a mess easily, needs more work to keep it nicely looking. But if you take care of it it's the best because you can do a lot with it as it's strong and full and it can look perfect like a wig.
