I'm going but mostly for the lolita stuff, I was originally going to buy a one day day ticket for Sunday. SO if any non creepers wanna hang out, I'm down, I'm going by myself and don't stay in houston year round so I don't know that many people.

Please be wary of James K. He is a volunteer and known to follow young female cosplayers around while using his volunteer position as an excuse. I heard he has been banned from SJ but makes it look like he doesn't go anymore since he claims Ninetails and Dave are out to get him. He is also notorious for harassing conventions, businesses, or events for not letting him control certain aspects or run his own events.

Tl;dr: James K. is a volunteer creep who harasses anyone to get his way

The girlfriend & I are going Saturday! We haven't been, but it sounds like a lowkey con, based on what we've heard. What else can we expect? Back when OniCon used to be there, the area behind the lobby would get stupid crowded at times, so I'm hoping Delta H manages the space better

the boyfriend & i are going saturday! well all weekend but he works til 6 tomorrow desu

i've attended once back in 2016, and it was really laid back. when i was there, it wasn't very crowded at all, but i'm hoping it's gotten a bit bigger each year

when i went, they had a small arcade but a lot of things were open/little wait so it's wayy easier to play! i played smash for about 1-2hrs, swapping out occasionally

Mostly actual con horror store like the usual creepy guy, the alcohol, and the “you’re a Whore” grandma reaction to revealing cosplays. There was some if barely any tea split about John, one girl talked about how John had scammed her uncle out of fixing and reselling cars? But she kept saying “take this with a grain of salt” so idk how true the story is, especially since it ended with “my uncle Sparta kicked him off the back porch”.

It ended with “meh but if you have shit to say about matsuri then speak up!”

Saw two AM-supporting lolitas in the back. It looked like they were going to go try and confront the boycott AM rep, but the rep left the panel room pretty quickly. Part of me is sad i didn't get to watch that confrontation.

Panel should have just been a Q&A, whats the point of having a guest panel where the guests dont talk? I wish I had got to hear more of their stories.
