According to the AMKE facebook page/updated site page, the rules have stayed the same, just that whoever did their graphic seemed to not have the same message.

Their video game room is usually fantastic and I guess for this year, I'd rec going to one of the LAVA panels if you like comedy. Their rave is hit or miss, depends on the DJs. Cosplay is ok, not amazing if you like to take photos

Last years meet up was like 2 traps and 3 alcoholics. I was #3.

Its a mid sized con that is gonna fail before it gets to be a big one unless they clean things up. I hear they are trying their best and things have been improving over the past few years but I wont go back until I hear much better reviews. Stay away from this one unless you are in town.

The staff definitely can suck major cock but its otherwise a pretty comfy medium sized con. They have a 2 hour costume contest with skits which is always fun. AWA last year is a top 5 NA size con and it was worse than AMKE's costume contest. Literally 1 hour of a scuffed rapper and like 20 minutes of scuffed cosplay with no skits.

AMKE really isnt that bad

They changed hotels and way less arcade machines. Pretty mediocre, the vendor hall was less filled too. I hope that they manage to get their money issues resolved next year. The ahegao ban was really silly if vendors are selling it openly.

Con was pretty lame, smaller everything. Game room, panels, store, rave, everything. I went to a couple panels that got canceled even. Waited for nothing, but I suppose that's my fault for following the printed schedule instead of the live one. Had more fun getting drunk in the hotel with friends. Didn't even get laid either, and I'm bi so I'm easy af. Prude ass con.
Pretty dissapointed this year desu. But hey at least they banned the cringe hentai hoodie based and redpilled am I rite

The old staff was amazing. I ran the Maid Cafe at the top of the Hyatt for about 10 years. It was great fun while it lasted, but I gtfo'd outta Milwaukee right quick, gulls. My advice? Get out and stay out. Not worth it.
