Nitpicks that happen because of a lack of better items imo are preferable to just having shitty taste, but I can't imagine going out in a coord while realising the black bloomers break it up. Just wait until you have white bloomers instead of low-key feeling self-conscious over the lack of them all day. People buy things in sets in this fashion, reuse dresses and make their coords with whatever they have at hand. Unless you're obsessively following each coord done by that person, it's quite a reach to criticize it for being a cookie cutter. This attitude is having a big hand in pushing the more OTT, costumey trend that has been going on for a long time. It's easy to see why the fashion gets seen as a costume so often.
