So out of all the Neon Star Diner pre-order stuff, what are you guys absolutely not buying? The "blouse" and the skirt aren't crazy, but they definitely looks like they have to be coorded in a more casual style.

It looks like the AP USA sites still taking pre-orders; is that normal at this point? Somehow I remember the process having a more limited window in the past.

>> No.10422289

I bought the skirt in navy and missed out on the headband, sadly. I’d like to get all the jewelry except for the record necklace, I need stuff that’ll work with the rest of my wardrobe.

I skipped on the blouse and the JSK cut (not a fan of halter straps) and the OP cut (can only do so many looks with that theme), I can see the skirt being more versatile desu

>> No.10422290

I'm so happy my call-out on AP's Photoshop laziness was used to start a new general.

You made me smile, anon.

>> No.10422294

Tbf it took Japan some time too until all the MTO spots were filled up save for the headband in all colors cause those went pretty fast. They probably have more MTO spots than the quantity of the original release.

It gave me a good chuckle, I'm glad that it made you smile <3

>> No.10422336

I went for the black OP and headband.
My heart wanted the pink set but I know I'll wear the black one a lot more.

>> No.10422349

I love casual stuff so I got the skirt, blouson, and headband. Hope they do a rerun of the socks with the jewelry.

>> No.10422356

I wish the actual blouses and socks were part of this preorder. I only got the headband in black. I'm hoping to get a lot of the jewelry this weekend though, I wonder how popular it'll be?

>> No.10422381

>> No.10422384

Plastic/Resin AP jewelry always sells out in seconds, without fail. I'm the anon that wanted the pink ring and I've requested it with my SS, but I'm not really counting on it.

>> No.10422392

Why are the staff at AP USA such morons? It’s an MTO, it’s just a limited MTO. Both Tokyo and Paris called it an MTO.

I’m really glad I’m not the only one. I thought it was just me. I’m really apalled that they’re not taking responsibility and blaming their customers for their failures. Also, they’re wanting to out the “problematic” customer to other indie brands. If she is as “problematic” as they say she is, why don’t you publicly post proof? Everyone should know about problem customers, why should only indie brands know? Or are they too scared someone else will call them out even further?

In the tea party details they’re doing raffles for vouchers so it probably goes into those. I don’t think they’re going to be shipping out physical gifts with the shipping issues.

I ended up buying it even though it’s going to be very early morning for me, luckily I don’t work during the weekend and I’ve been terribly bored so I just said fuck it let’s give it a go.

>> No.10422762

I put a $700 order with a japanese secondhand site and only after I asked they told me they didn’t have an estimated date of when they would ship, and said they “don’t care” when the package would be picked up lol. In the first place their site didn’t have any notes about not shipping internationally so I don’t think they were expecting international orders? I also asked if they can use Yamato, DHL or surface to which they said no, so that was extremely disappointing lol.

Pretty much. As far as I can tell, for all stores, there is not a one-to-one representation of what's in the physical store branches and the online shops. If you're really after something and it's not listed online anymore, it might be on the rack somewhere. Almost all of the Japanese stores I shop at operate like this; Innocent World treats your order as a request and then they have to have a few days to check if it's actually on the shelf anywhere.

With the actual storefronts re-opening, it might be useful for people to start scouting to figure out if there's anything not listed online but available in shop. I'm tempted to check out the USA store in case there are some left over things from pre-lockdown.

I just checked which dresses went out of stock after the happy bag release and I've noticed all but the green size 11 in the Juliet short op is out of stock (there were some white and blue stock before the happy bags iirc). So either they got snatched during the sale, or hopefully everyone likes goth gingham in their happy bags.
On that note, I hope the accessory bags don't have those stupid vanity bags, phone cases, or scrunchies. I don't see the scrunchies anymore and all their jewelry remains not on sale except for that dumb fucking cowboy necklace...

They are probably referring to the last accessory bags that literally counted a regular paper shop bag as an item last time (alongside with scrunchies and a vanity bag). The apparel bag included that terrible floral print dress no one bought, but I think it was expected.

This one probably has things that were on sale this time.

They won't make color ways that they don't have come out of thin air, so expect blue or green Juliets and green sleeping gardens, maybe one or two gardenias and a cross op...maybe a few of the weird colored summer catherine ops for good measure. Blouse wise, many will probably receive the first lace cutsew. Probably vanity bags, wallets, and scrunchies again. Phones cases are likely, too.
If they include socks, I'd expect the ones that look plain with the candelabra logo.
Just the usual unloading of things they couldn't sell...save for the new choker in the accessory bag.

I’ve used to think they have something to do with their major aesthetic reference to 50s vintage, but there’s the thing.

>> No.10425610

I've seen like 5-6 lolita ones. They are very late.

>> No.10425617

Where are the sale items? Can’t find them, I can only see stuff from the may sale.

>> No.10425618

It's for AP Tokyo (so, the La Foret branch). You can see the sale items if you check their ameblo.

Please no more. This has been done to death.

Stop blogging, they aren't even from Japan. This has literally nothing to do with your situation.

>> No.10425761

>long bazar
Instead of packing all the sales, special sets, etc into 5 days, the sale lasts the whole month. Laforet’s way of trying to prevent crowding

did anyone else notice this is Skelly-chan's account?

What is up with those red ribbons? Such an eyesore.

She doesn’t, she sells a lot of her stuff after one or two wears. Check out her LM history.

So? A lot of people do that. When your collection is big and you have like 50 main pieces, even wearing things a couple times means you’ve had it awhile. If she was routinely pricing things superhigh it would be one thing, the lollipop necklace got bid up that high. I don’t blame her for listing the second one at the same price the first one was listed for just to cut to the chase

>> No.10426041

Please explain, unless you mean the negative feedback on her page cause that was pretty Karen-like of her

>50 main pieces
More like 10, she's sold half the dresses in her pictures. I guess she owns a lot of plush bags

>> No.10426046

I was looking at the g-spot one.
Anyone know if they are any good?

>> No.10426050

You’re an idiot. Her wardrobe is small, she had a video tour for her 2020 wardrobe and it only had a few pieces. I don’t know if it’s still up, but she doesn’t have a lot of pieces at once. She has a few and then resells to buy more. That’s not a big wardrobe, a big wardrobe would be if she kept them.

I'm not from Japan either though? I just have enough money to take a trip every two years, and friends that work for Japanese MNCs.

Actually in my exact case I'll tell you I haven't been able to find much Moitie, so I would really have bought it off lacemarket rather than from Japan. Resulting in the exact feedback anon described.

>> No.10426373

I like the ribbons

this makes my heart doki doki

Extremely tacky and gay, even when it was popular.
