It's really not when you consider both shipping from Japan to the states and the fact that the dress was in mint condition without missing the removable sleeves or the removable collar.

The same dress was being sold and bought for about the same price and more with missing pieces.

So yeah it was actually a pretty good deal considering the dress rarely popped up and when it did it was usually missing things.
