I will say, the thing I admire most about Lor is that she doesn’t give a fuck about comments from shit stains like aforementioned anon. I know she mentioned being into kinky shit awhile back in one of her videos and so I have to imagine that she intentionally dresses like shit because she secretly enjoys the humiliation of it or something. People really forget that mods have real jobs outside of Lolita, and can’t be there at the beck and call of whatever the latest drama is, especially when it doesn’t even really involve anyone in your comm directly. I stepped down from being a mod of a pretty large comm after Lor’s maga-gate incident because it was honestly getting insane. No one in our comm was directly involved at all, and yet still the mod team was getting tons questions, concerns, and expectations for statements after every new development. I knew that every single response I made to the issue was being scrutinized and could have been screenshotted and shared etc. and I just don’t feel comfortable with that kind of exposure. I’ve got a real job and a real life that I felt could have been maligned by this stupid drama that wasn’t even relevant to our comm, so I stepped down. They still haven’t filled the spot, and it does harm the community. My comm has mostly been very appreciative towards the mods but recently I’m reminded how easily it can go awry.
