I seriously doubt that the arson is the reason why. What I think did them in was like what happened in the LAX Marriott, the partying, underaged drinking, and people destroying hotel property when they were drunk. The hotels probably complained to the Ontario Convention Center owners and that led them to not renewing the contract.

This will also likely lead to them leaving Long Beach sooner than later. Anime Los Angeles needs to fix its party culture, or at least encourage them to party responsibly.

Nothing officially stated. But besides the arson, there's some weird stuff going on at Ontario airport. Right after ALA 2019 (like 2 weeks later) Ontario airport and surrounding area became a covid check-in and isolation spot for anyone travelling to the US from mainland China.

Just recently, they grounded a lot of Ontario flights, and all flights headed to Ontario got re-routed to LAX or SNA. Not sure if it's still happening though.

Honestly one of the best parts. Every other con theres barely any restaurants in the area and require you to travel pretty far. This place has a fuck ton of restaurants everywhere. Ax is the worst for food. Closest mcdonalds is like 10 blocks away. Then you have those terrible restaurants at LA live. The rest of the restaurants are in downtown which is pretty far. Walking back and forth between the con and restaurants is a huge waste of time and my feet hurt from all the walking.

Nope. Whole con is not crowded at all so far. Might change tomorrow or sat. But it's not that bad. There's empty seats and couches everywhere. No crazy lines for panels etc. It's comfy. It's a different vibe for sure. More relaxed and chill. It's a stress free con. Places to eat are super close, no waiting or standing for long hours, friendly people, close to the beach, guests are decent, can easily get autographs quick and easy, etc. It's a much more intimate con that others. This con kinda feels like early anime expo days. Nothing too crazy but comfy.

Going to try to make some sense of this collage, which is pretty well done,but out of order?

I was close with several of the Arcane maids starting in 2016 and they told me some awful stories of King Lin just being super creepy towards them. When they told Drew about his creepiness, Drew defended King Lin and kept allowing him to go to Arcane Café events.

When multiple victims of King Lin came forward and exposed him for rape and sexual harassment, Drew conspired to play the victim and deny that King Lin ever worked for Arcane café, even though that's what Drew was telling the Arcane maids. (See Screenshot)

There's speculation that Drew also tried to help King Lin stop his accuser by keeping tabs on her and snooping about her whereabouts…although that's just rumor.

Another time Drew tried to help King Lin was during LVL EXPO when Drew yelled at a person for warning the community that King Lin was at LVLUP EXPO and told the person to stop or else King might … KILL HIMSELF. Which is a theme throughout King's history for playing the victim. Something the two have in common it seems.

Drew threatens a whistleblower for exposing him for removing a watermark from the artwork of German artist, MIAOWx3, in order to print the t-shirts without paying the artist anything. Drew gets so mad that he tries to gaslight the whistleblower by saying that they have a "learning disability" and "social dysfunction". As if telling someone that they are being robbed is a social dysfunction? I believe that's actually what people would call - doing the right thing. Drew also threatened the whistleblower saying that their "misfortune might run amiss," which is important because we'll show that Drew didn't just let this go after scamming the German artist, MIAOWx3

King Lin is also exposed for lying about having sex with his "premiere" girls to each other in order to gain credibility with them, but ends up scaring them half to death. Also throws a knife at one of the premiere girls at Fanime.

Part 3: Stealing Artwork, Then Denying it Was Theft

everyone on facebook reads his DMs where he argues that it's not stealing because he's giving it away for free and pretty much called him out on him just rage arguing his point across. As if removing a watermark, then printing the artwork onto t-shirts to give away to promote your convention ... not stealing? I'm pretty sure in Drew's warped world, whatever he says goes, but unfortunately, the person that called him out was 1000% in the right and called him out on his bullshit. They also contacted the artist and she was unaware that they removed her watermark and had printed the artwork on t-shirts. She also seemed to barely speak English, iirc.

#4-- Drew Censors Critics By Reporting Critics with Bots and Fake Accounts

July 2017 -- Drew reports the whistleblower's post to Facebook and gets the post, which had like over 200 shares and hundreds of comments removed and censored. It looks like you can see most of them still on the collage though. ( see screenshots)

Trying to pull this kinda stunt in a community full of indie artists is pretty lame.

Yeah, we might be teens and tweens, but this kind of argument wouldn't even fly with elementary kids, hombre.

Definitely wouldn't work in a court of law.

Drew is also known for using bots and fake accounts to report his critics, so i'm pretty sure this is what happened here.

Part 5 :Discriminating Against Volunteers with Autism & Learning Disabilities
August 2017
Someone realizes Drew has a flowchart on his Facebook profile which very obviously implies that he would not work with people that have learning disabilities or autism by showing their path leading to "avoid, run, do not work with" on the flowchart.

Way to be inclusive, Drew.

Might be nice to have a little more diversity in Arcane maid cafe, too, while you're at it.

In March 2018, Drew somehow gets a hold of the Titan con, which was a convention held at Calstate Fullerton for a couple years. Seems like Drew is friends with the founder of TitanCon and it sounds like TitanCon may have been aware since they were included in promoting Anifest 2018. Either way, it was a violation of spam

Part 9: Harasses Whistleblower from 2017

When I first heard about this, I personally thought Drew went to Coast Con to harass his accuser. I wouldn't be surprised if he'd been stalking them since they exposed him with how vindictive he seems to get with people that he perceives to be his "enemy" and with that whole "fortunes run amiss" statement.

They said that the Arcane maids went to her booth and yelled at some of her customers. Luckily, she wasn't there when they went.

Drew couldn't even harass them himself,he had to send the maids...

Part 10 : Spreading Disinformation

After Drew pulled his stunts at CoastCon with unauthorized trespassing and harassing guests, a lot of people brought up that he also stole the artwork to print on t-shirts last year to promote Anifest too. And it looks like Drew just tried to cover that up by showing a completely different piece of art that he probably got commissioned in 2018, way after he gave away those t-shirts in 2017.


Part 11: Abusing 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Status
The 501(c)(3) non-profit status is reserved for organizations that help their communities.

It wasn't created for people with questionable morals and ethics like Drew, who just want to abuse it for profit and personal benefit.

I'm sure Drew's breaking some kind of rule for operating a non-profit between #1-10.

Just discriminating against kids with Autism and learning disabilities as volunteers sounds like a big violation already, if you ask me. I mean, do you know how many people with some type of learning disability or autism also are anime fans? A lot.
