My day wasn't shitty, my 10 pack of Crest professional whitening strips arrived just in time for my dental appointment n the 28th.
I'm having a white filling put in one of my front teeth and I need to make my teeth very white so they match the filling to my tooths colour. If they get the filling too dark and I decide to whiten my teeth in the future I'll end up with a funky looking dark patch :3

Anyway, this is my collection of short greentexts regarding events that could be called a weeaboo horror stories (I'd sure call it that).
It all started here:
>Be 16 (at time) and a real loner in new school
>just read manga and novels in the school library to pass the time
>one day decide to read chobits
>hear a high pitched squee from across the room and a girl with uncut uber long hair runs over
>"Uwaaahhh! Is that chobits!?" She exclaimed in a high pitched, almost venusangelic-like voice
>She hugs me and asks if we can hang out
>I take offer, as I am in need of a new friend
Months later we are still friends, and infact, quite close. I managed to endure her weeaboo ways, while enjoying watching some good anime with her. In these later months she gained an obsession with me.
>I began watching Macross Frontier, mention it to her, she's hooked as expected
>meet up with her the next day and she's dressed in some shitty attempt at one of Sheryl Nome's outfits, corset and purple skirt etc.
>She speaks of how I am like Ranka and continues to say they make a good yuri pairing
>She starts trying to get me to touch her grubby breasts that are awkwardly pushed up in a cheap old corset
>Pull hand away and dismiss it
>Later on, sleepover at her house (why)
>Watch some Macross Frontier and other anime
>Head to bed
>Wake up to the shock of her jumping on top of me and crushing my pelvis, while sliding her hand down my trousers
>She whispers "Kaito-kuuuunnn....Aishiteru" and instantly I push her hand away and attempt to hide myself under her rolls of fat
>I tell her to go away or I'll never speak to her again
>She obviously backs away and apologises, saying it will never happen again.

>She pulls out a knife from behind her and says something in japanese then says "I deserve A-kun more than you ever will, he loves me, he just can't admit it."
>I get up to run but she pushes her fat body against me and tells me to "just...die."
>I snap out of my shocked state and punch her in the stomach
>Surprisingly, she reacts and backs away
>head to the door with my stuff
>wake my boyfriend up, explaining what happened and he drives straight to her house to pick me up.
Had enough of her. Now I have a part-time job in gamestop. She visits every day, sometimes in Yuno cosplay and just wanders around aimlessly for around an hour, occasionally staring at me.

I once got became lost in life, and with no direction to go I began spending ridiculous amounts of money on stuff I didn't need. Once I had the thing I wanted I was already looking at the next thing I wanted in my possession.
It wasn't until I moved into my own place, carrying all the boxes and setting every thing out, that I realized that all this stuff was controlling me, and that in the future I wasn't always going to be able to take everything with me, that it was just weighing me down.

Since then I've sold off/donated over half of my possessions, have enrolled back in college for the September, am taking a Japanese spoken and written language course and have picked up the language surprisingly well.

It's nice feeling like you have a purpose and direction in life. All that money wasted though.... eurghhh....

Well theres one I have. Not so much of a horror story, but really one about preventative measures and dodging a bullet.

Laugh, all you seagulls, at my idiotic experience.

So, first con without my dad. First time going out without any parental supervision. I was a naive 18 year old just coming out of her weeaboo phase, and had recently befriended Friend A at my school. I was invited to go to Anime Boston with her, my friends P and C, and her friend J from highschool. They had a hotel room already set up, I'd just need to pay them equal portions, everything sounded fine and dandy.

Oh how wrong I was.

J was the one who rented the hotel, since she was the only one old enough to do it... and she came with a few demands. One was that we take a party car from her house all the way up to Boston, and then all the way back. No amount of reasoning could pull her out of that mindset. None of them seemed able to comprehend "I live an hour away from boston, I can ask my parents for a ride for us up, we won't have to pay shit". So that was a waste but you know what, I was okay. I'd be willing to put up with a single demand for the girl who got our hotel.

And then came the other demand: J refused to let ANYBODY go if they did not cosplay. No cosplay, no hotel room. She wanted us all to not be party poopers, and whatever fucking crazy reasoning she had I don't know but we had to cosplay. Only P got away without it, since he and C were dating, P was the "photographer", and he complied to her by wearing cat ears and being a "Kawaii yaoi neko boy". I shit you not, those were her exact words. I had met a real life person who spoke like that. Anyways, thank god she had a cosplay I could borrow... kind of.

I'm not going to lie, I'm no fucking lightweight. Anon is fat as shit, but keeps herself clean and tidy and stink free. J was also huge as shit, but the living embodiment of hambeast. Got overly excited over yaoi, huge as a house, greasy as shit...

So back to J's "kind cosplay gift": it was letting me borrow an Organization XIII jacket. At the time, never having gone to a con before and being painfully optimistic, I thought that jackets of this quality were typical and accepted it. I would be willing to accept a fucking raincoat-jacket material Org XII coat that looked like a trashbag on me if it meant that I wouldn't get kicked out of the group. Paired with a blonde wig that I decided to straighten (because I was a fucking idiot then), I decided to go as Vexen. A 275 pound Vexen. And nobody saw anything wrong with this in our group... whatever. People generally do shitty their first cosplays, we learn...

The trip up was nice, the driver Carlos looked like the guy from Hitman, and we got to blast house music on the way up. I think honestly the partycar was my favorite part of the trip... but this hotel room J scored? Fucking sketchy as shit, on a creepy side of town, and a full 5 blocks from the nearest T station and it was on the orange line but this was typical for a con... right? I mean, I've heard of stuff like this before... and for 120 dollars a person it couldn't be too bad!

It got worse. Like, a lot worse. We get to the hotel room, and J started up her shit. Since only "she and A" were the ones registered to stay in the hotel room, only SHE was going to be allowed to hold the hotel room key. Everyone else would have to comply to her schedule. And then we were also informed that her friend may spend the night in our hotel room maybe. Maybe being the key word here. There was a king-sized bed, the boys brought their air mattress, and so it was me, A, and J sleeping on the same bed for a while. Not a pleasant experience.

We got our prereg stuff Thursday, and then Friday we head to the con...

...and quickly discover all of our cellphones, save for J's, didn't work in the center. Being J, she had ran away at the first sight of someone from bleach or whatever because she was cosplaying this dude. So four kids, one big convention, no fucking idea what to do. So we just rolled with it, hoping to find J later on in the day.

A got sick while at the con, understandable enough... but J wouldn't give us the hotel room key still when we did find her. As a note, I only found her because I sat for three hours in the same place in front of the Artists Alley in hopes she'd eventually come by. And even then, when she saw A sick, she refused to give us a key, called us party poopers, and ran off. So what the fuck else could we do? We sat around like a bunch of assholes to help our sick friend, while we got blown off by J. When J finally decided she'd be nice by skipping the 18+ yaoi panels ~for now~ to get us all into the hotel room at 11 at night in the shady part of town, we tried having a decent conversation with her about why A should have a key too. That offer was turned down.

So far it seems like a series of unfortunate events, instead of just a big con horror story. Thats because shit really hit the fan on Saturday.

Saturday was a hell in and of itself. That was also the very first year Yaoi paddles were banned from AB. Being a dick with hardcore intentions though, I was told by J that they would be allowed because she asked staff if she could just bring it to be signed by the guys who voiced the Twins from Ouran and they said its ok as long as she didn't use it. A bold faced lie, I now realize, but I didn't see it then. We also managed to talk Jess into a plan, and a place to meet later on to discuss whats going on that night.In the meantime though, Jess asked me to hold onto her yaoi paddle because "She already had props for her Naruto cosplay and couldn't carry around so many props". I figured you know, be nice, carry a prop for her, maybe she'd loosen up.

I was a yaoi paddle carrying shitty Vexen cosplay wearing a giant raincoat trashbag coat and a fried wig, And life got shitty from there.

My day was a battle between getting yelled at by people for "being disgusting and a terrible human being" for having this paddle that I was just holding for a friend, and having teenaged girls try and steal it out of my hands so they can smack each other's asses with it. I tried to find J again so I can ask her to take it back because honest to god I was to the point of tears, because I couldn't understand why everyone was so mad at me. Looking back, I feel like such a fucking idiot for trusting this chick, but at the time I just wanted to have a good time and it was almost impossible. A, P, and C were really trying to help but honest to god it was just... no use.

When we saw J I tried to get her to take it back, and she did, but because she found her possible friend that was going to maybe (now definitely) sleep over. Turns out? This friend was a fucking RP buddy of hers on Deviantart, the "Sasuke to her Naruto" as she actually said. And she was sleeping over that night, and wasn't going to pay because it was her hotel room and she made the rules

She had dyed her hair blue, was wearing a shitty vocaloid Kaito cosplay, and all in all hadn't changed a bit. What did change, though, was that she had found a new RP partner, the "Len to her Kaito", was now a Trans* man, and so was her partner and everything was perfect. Of course, she didn't remember who the fuck I was. I had to reintroduce myself to her and everything, and after I had she immediately gone into all of what I said earlier.

If I could give any advice to someone on this board (which I'm sure you've all learned by now), it would be that people like J are always going to be that way. Forever. And there's no use in trying to find some good or change.

Heres a personal story for you guys from my first con

Very first time ever cosplaying. Always liked watching anime/manga but was into the more mainstream stuff back in highschool sophmore in college now). Finally get into college and meet a guy who's from same town as me, friends w/ everyone I know and just a cool ass dude in general. He's also a cosplayer and convinces me to cosplay and go to a con.

fast forward to the actual day of the con(momocon in atl)

Cosplaying Shuhei Hisagi. I'm a pretty good looking guy i'd say, athletic build. don't smell like ass like 80% of the other people at the con. Tons of hambeasts just glomping me all day, and all these like younger girls following me around. I'm thinking ok meh I guess they really just this cosplay, more or less at the time I didnt care I was just happy people liked my cosplay! Second day of the con. solid 9/10 girl comes up to me, starts flirting with me, at this point im literally blushing. Hambeasts approach an like fucking intimidate her. She passes me her number and walks away, I dip out asap. Final day of the con, both me and her are chillin at subway outside of cosplay MFW the fuckin hambeasts and her posse walk in and recognize us. Starts a commotion, subway employee tells them to leave. i'm laughing my ass off in my seat as the hambeast shuffles out. Shit was fun

I have somewhat of a con horror story to share (it's not that weeaboo-ish)
Be at biggest con in my country (which means it's not that big of a con) with my friend S that was cosplaying Alice from Alice madness returns
She gets stalked all day by a guy cosplaying Kise from Kuroko no basket (with spray painted yellow hair that was flaky, but they were a whole group of store bought cosplays + spray painted hair)
now that guy seemed okay at first, a bit clingy but nothing too strange, S is really attractive and cosplays well so she gets a good deal of attention. She often gets stalked at cons so we didn't make a big deal of it but it god creepier.
We got stuck with the slightly creepy bunch of online friends we only see at cons, including a guy with aspergers that always stares at girls legs mumbling weird shit and another guy who's a fucking drunkard.
Now that's where shit hits the fan, Drunk guy got mad at Stalker out of nowhere, probably trying to get him to leave and Stalker-kun calls the rest of his cosplay group and they start yelling in the middle of the hallway. Meanwhile S and I try to calm them down Asperger-kun lifts up a girl's skirt. Fighting ensues.
S and I nope'd the fuck outta there, I heard afterwards that it took security 20 minutes to get everybody to calm down.

My girlfriend majored in chinese and I thought it was a waste of time, but she graduates tomorrow after 4 years, and just got a job to translate bank statements for a millionaire movie producer (wont say which but a big movie is coming out in a year or two and shes translating all the Chinese scripts and lines for them).
So yes, you will meet ALOT of weebs who think watching animu is some sort job that validates spending 35k a year. Dont be one of those people.

There is actually only 1 OFFICIAL standard, being mandarin in main land china, but southern speak cantonese because its not as modern as the north. Also, the differences are dialect and accent. Its like bostonian talkng to someone from alabama. Yes, its almost like its two different languages, but its still one common root. I'll admit that I started studying Japanese in sixth grade or so for that reason (during my weeb phase), but that's how I discovered that I loved foreign languages and I started studying on my own a few years after that. I'd really love to become an interpreter or translator, even though those aren't exactly the best jobs out there, but I love doing them. It isn't to watch animu without subs or something. They're separate hobbies, even though I do still watch a ton of anime.

My trying to make excuses aside, they just last about a semester? I feel bad for them having to pay so much just to realize it isn't all it's cracked up to be, but do people really think it's that easy to learn a language just to watch TV shows? And are the classes just full of weebs, or are weebs a scarcity and most of the people are just normal people who like Japanese? I've never taken a Japanese class before since my high school never offered it, so I have no idea outside of weeb stories.

Weebs join the class because they think they will go to japan with their OC characters and make animes and marry a cute asian girl/boy and live happily ever after. Weebs generally have this terrible fairy tale land veiw of life where they think they are the 0.0001% of people who actually do work they LIKE. what they dont know is japan, despite what the media portrays, is incredibly xenophobic and hate you unless you seriously abide by there standards and humble yourself alot. I have traveled to asia (japan and china for my girlfriends schooling), and trust me, they give no shits how much you like the anime.

But the worst part is, if you dont start learning a language early (childhood) then it is incredibly hard to master unless you have a knack for it naturally. Its like boot camp: The first week or two is the hardest to weed out the losers. Dont give up. Translation is actually highly sought if you know where to look. With censorship in both japan and china, people want American speakers so they can be sure theres no bias. Government work, banks, accountants, foreign embassies, hospitals, all need speakers.

I have a tale I’ve yet to tell -partially because it’s less Weeb related than most others shared here and partially because it genuinely bothers me to think about- but I often wonder if anyone else on here has an experience involving this guy:
Huston huddleston.
Now, he’s a California local and if you ever encounter him…don’t even look at him because I think he’s genuinely dangerous and unstable. Huston is the son of Floyd Huddleston and has quite a large sum of money which he uses misguidedly …like making his room look like a castle (literally…painted grey brick and all) and though I haven’t interacted with him in years he used to also use it to offer underage girls trips with him to Comic con and promises of meeting celebrities so long as they shared a room with him… I have since talked to 4 girls on facebook who either accepted the trips with awful consequences of their naivety or refused and faced his harassment and threats…one such girl was my sister and with that the story begins.

She’s incredibly shy and meek and this whole event has made her nothing but more distrustful and quiet over the years- which deeply saddens me. For this thread I’ll call her S. S isn’t just skittish by nature she has something called Prosopagnosia or face blindness,
This means she can’t really remember faces and doesn’t recognize people at first glance. It’s very strange and she can place voices but obviously it’s effected many aspects of her life and only reinforces her paranoia. She was abused in the past and I often wonder if she got the condition from brain damage rather than from birth- anyway Huston found it just fascinating as most people who hear about it do…only it was the weakness that really attracted him.

Sarah it is then,
Sarah spent a lot of time on the internet back then and she had a MySpace account where she had made many female friends who shared her interest. Anime, Manga, American comics and scifi movies…etc. It was easy for her to open up on there because having all her friends organized in one place with names next to their pictures always helped her keep track of who was who and I think that’s what she liked about it so much. It made her seem normal as oppose to at school where she really couldn’t bond with anyone. I did my best to include her in my social life because if not she would always be alone at home and I took her to nearly every convention I attended where we would occasionally meet up with friends she had made online. She liked going with me and friend’s regardless though because she had grown up around them and they were always kind to her. She was fascinated by our cosplay and expressed an interest in doing it herself but lacked the confidence. Anyway one year before an anime convention she approached and asked if I’d help her with a kingdom hearts costume. “I’d really like to dress up as Kairi...” She said. “Do you think maybe you can help make it good so people don’t laugh?” I had told her before everyone has an awful first cosplay they can look back on and make fun of and I guess she had taken that to heart. She was laughed at enough everywhere else and maybe that scared her off. I was actually really shocked she had even asked me it really wasn’t like her to express herself and her wants that openly so I jumped at the chance. And we tried our best to get it accurate and make it something she could be proud of. I loved seeing her try on her wig the first time. She was so happy she just kept looking at it and smiling to herself. The whole process of making it was a lot of fun and it did wonders for her confidence.

Just by looking at him I knew he was at least in his mid-twenties. Significantly older then Sarah and even older then I was at the time ( I was 18 almost 19) He went in for a hug and Sarah sort of backed away and looked at me for reassurance. He spoke a lot about celebrities he supposedly knew and how he met a young Natalie Portman once and she was mean. He talked about who his dad was and how he had written some music in Disney’s Robin hood. He wasn’t devoid of charm though, he could be a little funny but I wasn’t letting my guard down and was determined to have a talk with Sarah later about meeting strangers online. What was unnerving me the most was that he kept flirting with her…it wasn’t direct so It was nothing I could call him on but he just kept complimenting her in a way that wasn’t really innocent. Things like how all the guys were checking her out, what cosplays she should do next because they’d be “so cute” etc. Things that when said more than once become weird. He also showed me some pictures of his room on his phone that was unintentionally creepy. “I made it look like a castle, see” he said “and when you open this door there’s a dungeon but its full of DVDs!”
My sister laughed and commented on it like “Huston there’s no way she’d believe you unless you showed her” which also bothered me because why the hell was he showing her pictures of his room? He told me we’d have to come see it in person and I was about ready to stop giving him the benefit of the doubt when he took me aside to talk.

“I know what you’re thinking,” he told me

He then went on to tell me how he had often befriended young girls and there was no ulterior motive but often times the families had problems with it and he hoped I was different. The fact this was a habit of his wasn’t exactly reassuring me. He told me he had recently lost his best friend ( a 16 year old) because her family had ‘misunderstood’ and forbid her from seeing him and how much that hurt him. I told him he was making me MORE uncomfortably straight out and he said he understood. I told him Sarah would not be seeing him without me present (and in my mind it was decided at all) and that she was not there to fill a void in his life (I.E the best friend position) and that I’d have to get to know him to really trust him and I wasn’t sure I wanted to yet but I appreciated him talking to me.

He told her that she had been so lucky to have had an “out of your league guy” even interested in her and that he didn’t know what she was holding out for. He ended it by saying he would be blocking her.

I'm studying Japanese and I also watch a lot of anime.
Is there supposed to be some sort of problem with this? I was studying Korean prior until I discovered I had a knack for Japanese and the language flowed easier from my mouth (Korean can be so guttural and nasally).

Another Con approached and I suggested we go with my friends and take Amy along. I tell Sarah she should wear her cosplay and she is suddenly very upset and dismissive of it. She tells me she shouldn’t because she thinks it might give people the wrong impression and I’m immediately suspicious. I remind her of how much fun she had had before and she tears up a little and tells me she did but “people” online said a bunch of negative things about it. I look and sure enough there are three consistent posters antagonizing her before being banned. I have no idea how long this was going on but Huston was banned from the site shortly after for having multiple profiles so I think the case was closed on that one. There was one more unfamiliar profile however that had started commenting right before…an unfamiliar young guy who was white knighting for Sarah pretty hardcore. She told me he had been banned too for fighting with them but he was a really nice guy and they had begun talking on MSN. I warned her to be careful.

Over the course of a couple months she and this guy (who was called Dave) became pretty good online friends and he expressed an interest in meeting her. Reading about animal cruelty really makes me sad and depressed right now.
Last weekend someone assaulted my cat and I had to hurry him to a vet first thing in the morning after I spent the whole night crying and giving him first-aid, fearing hes gonna die in my arms.
