I am just fascinated with her skill in ripping people off. How much did she charge for those Batmins? I think they were $30 dollars each? They probably cost her $2 each to make and judging by the size--minimal effort to sculpt. All of the things in her store are overpriced, but she's got the neckbeard following to keep her afloat.

I know this is a pretty common thing among cosplayers now, but damn. She lives off of little sculpy figures and print sales? And can afford to spend a week in a hotel at Dragon*Con? Do the other cons she attends as a "guest" pay for her to come?

I don't think many conventions pay the cosplayer to attend, though I could be wrong. Usually they are offered free passes and table space at the convention. Hotel, Travel and Food aren't generally covered.
