Models? Depends on the convention. She gets hired by numerous video game companies for ads and shit, so yeah, she makes good money.

But no you can't make a career out of just cosplay, especially if you are fat and/or ugly.

She doesn't make her own costumes, but J. Nigs is actually a cosplayer and does play games. It's not about how attractive she is for her level of success, though. She is actively marketing herself, constantly trying to get herself out there. That's how her fanbase was built.

Does she make money off of cons, probably not. Most cons aren't willing to pay an appearance fee for a cosplayer. Does she get to go to cons for free, yes. Cons are willing to shell out for travel and room if the person is a big enough draw. She might also profit if she has an AA table and sells prints, but I dont consider that to be the con paying, just providing the avenue for her to profit.

I heard that some models can make up to a couple grand for each gig, which is pretty good money for just a couple of days of work, but it really depends on how many gigs or events you go to a year.

Jessica has her ass flown all over the place every two weeks so I doubt she has another job, and somehow she's able to afford really expensive things, so I'm guessing she makes a pretty good living off of it.

I might just be talking out of my ass right now, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Hate to break it to you... But your wife isn't that good looking.

Jnig has all expense paid trips! Not only that, she literally does not get out of bed for less than $5k per gig.
AX paid her $8k plus expenses. She is RARE though. Most people will NEVER reach her level. Even if you are more talented or are prettier because she actually has to work really hard to promote, deal with crazy fans, drama and etc. she does actually play the games. Even if she didn't, who cares? She's still more popular and making money for practically being hot (subjective, but look at her FB).
