That's kinda what I was thinking. Like the texture / "shine" of a real leather jacket, but not like wrapping paper shiny so that it looks like it should make a crinkling noise lol. I also don't think it's like a plain cottony fabric even though in the anime it looks very dull. I always took it as a leather jacket.

I don't follow this series so all I can go off of is the pictures people post from the game or stills or whatever and from an outsider looking in, she does not have curls. To be fair, it's colored kind of a warm brownish or peachy blonde on some official merchandise, and everything in the game has a weird cool tint to it that makes it hard to tell what colors things are really supposed to be.

That said, it's obviously not platinum, so I don't know what the hell to say to all the Junkos who wear that shade of blonde.

Owari's wig is short and thin and in general she looks like she hardly tried, Togami is apparently using their own black glasses and a platinum blonde wig (but is really good from the neck down at least), Nidai's jacket looks like a puckered mess even when it's out of focus, Hanamura in the background appears not to be wearing a wig, and I can't really see that Hinata, but judging from the highwaters and tiny ahoge, I don't have high hopes.

Koizumi seems pretty good, but like most cosplays of her, the fabric is too much of a cool toned green/not khaki enough (I'm pretty sure it still would be without the filter) and the tie doesn't really look like the right kind of gingham pattern? It might just be because the print is so small though. Again, though, she is pretty good, at least relative to most of the group.

Tsumiki, Souda, and Nanami could be fine or not, it's pretty much impossible to tell.

I would actually probably do Rayon knit I think it's called? Sweatshirt material. It'll drape better since jersey knit is literally t-shirt material. My advice is to go to a fabric store and check out their fabric in the apparel section or just ask. For my Tsumiki cosplay I bought this thing called lycra binding tape! I'm not sure where you'd find it in the states, but I bought it at a fabric store in the trims section. It came in white and you can typically find different widths and it was sold by the metre. What I did was I bought a lot and layered it so it would stay up, and then safety pinned the end to the rest of the layers and tucked it underneath so it isn't visible.

Oh, but it is made of strips sewn together so if you pull on it too much the stitches will unravel, so just be careful of that or glue them together or something.

My friend cosplayed Gundam and what they did was they used the same lycra binding that I had for Tsumiki and dyed it to make it a bit more dingy and greyish beige and snipped short pieces and wrapped them around their hand and handsewed the edges together to create a glove. It looks super good too, just make sure that it lays flat against your skin and you're using small neat stitches. I'm pretty sure they used separate lengths of binding for each finger and then sewed it to the palm + wrist piece. I can ask them for a pic if you want.

I think he looks FANTASTIC. Sakuras with the right build really makes a difference. I'm not sure what you mean, anon, I think the face fits Sakura very well. Also not even Sakura's sprite has defined lashes in a series where every character seems to have them, so I think the lack of them is okay. I do agree that doing the scars would have been a great addition, but I think he did a great job so far. I found a group with mixed quality.
The Naegi, Chihiro, and Fukawa are pretty good. The Ishimaru might be the best I've seen so far. The others are meh, while that Sakura is complete shit
