I've got a coworker that is a very obvious brony. He at least doesn't look like a typical neckbeard brony, but he constantly talks about the show no matter the company and I've never seen him with his applejack dog tags. Not even tucked into his shirt, just right there in the open. I tend to just ignore him or smile and nod as he mostly works in a different area than I do.

Most coworkers I actually have to interact with that are into anime or whatever are pretty tame. We talk casualy about our interests and they know I cosplay and go to cons but I never go into details.

No one really likes her that much but no one seems to overly dislike her either, so I don't really have any horror stories. I AM the weeaboo coworker, but I had a classmate in high school who put even me off sometimes by insinuating that he wanted me to be his qt furry loli (not the fashion) GF. I don't know where the idea came from, I'm not even a furry, but he tried to seduce me with ears and a tail and said shit like "Don't come to school with damp hair, you'll catch a cold bc ur so weak lol u need me".

He wrote fiction which was very obviously about the people we shared a class with but with their names changed to made-up Japanese ones. In the stories apocalyptic shit happened and killed off the students he didn't like much. Only the girls and one strangely familiar boy were left, and it essentially turned into softcore Lord of the Flies (c) Brazzers, which he volunteered to read aloud but the teacher at the time had edited it before and said pls no. He offered to let me read his fanfictions all the time, then retracted the offers because he didn't want me to embarrass myself in class because it was ecchi and I would get totes wet over it. Spectacular.

This girl I work with is around 21. She acts like she's 16. Lives on her trust fund, so I don't know why she's even working with me. She talks about three things: her room mate, her girlfriend and cosplay. Even though she's never made a single cosplay in her life. She gets photographer friends to shoot her and swear she's hot shit. She has no idea how to control the volume of her voice , and it's just second hand embarrassment having to work with her. Shes on tumblr as a sjw, has tons of ask blogs and draws shitty animu art. i can't wait to get a better paying job. It's crazy dealing with weebs in 2014.

I'd say the opposite for me, actually. Normalfags are sometimes a breath of fresh air. It can get tedious when the only conversation ever is about anime, when they're loud in public, when they bring nerdy stuff up in front of people who shouldn't know I like nerdy stuff, it's just exhausting.

To answer the thread:
I used to be friends with a group of weebs. More friends of friends, really. I knew one sane girl who liked anime. She had other anime enthusiast friends. They were less sane.
Whenever we walked anywhere it was a competition of who can echo their screams off the buildings. They'd pretend to be male characters and grope each other for da yaoiz. Glomping. Ugh.

I never got that close to them and I eventually drifted from the mutual friend. Partly because it was rare to spend time with her without the others. I gave up and moved on.

I have a new co-worker like that. I work as a bartender, and sometimes bouncer at a club.

She's obnoxious and loud, 30% of the time she's talking about stuff I don't give a fuck about and the other 70% I don't understand what she says because the music is too loud.

She's a real bitch to clients a lot of times, especially if the guy is lacking when it comes to height or looks. Some clients just one to make smalltalk so why not have fun a little bit (like flirt/talk abit with the older guys/girls that no one seems to want to hang out with), but she'll get all fucking riled/reminazi'd up if the guy gives her a wink or a tip just for being a girl, she'll make and serve drinks with a shitfaced angry mug and slam the drink on the table sometimes to get the drink on the client, which in turn made them fucking leave and probably never come back.

The other day I was on my break from bouncer shift and I asked her to serve me a drink and she actually asked me to pay her for it (she knows drinks for employees are on the house, especially bartenders, so i knew she was just gonna pocket the money) and I said no. She did the same shit and got some fucking j&b on my pants. I wanted to hurt her but I need the pay and I love to work there so w/e, shrugged it off. What really gets me is that she was all fun & flirt & gay & rainbows with me before that.

I don't like working with her. I think I'll have a talk with the boss.

And back on topic, I ended up becoming friends with this one ponytailed guy with an oreimo bag and a League of Legends obsession. Depends on your country, I think, because of differences in licensing laws and such. In the UK, it's the same as getting any other job; you just throw CVs at bars until someone calls you back. There is this weird dude at work who openly claims to be a 'trap'. For the most part he's your average annoying weeb, but from time to time he comes to work in ill fitting women's jeans and stilettos. His physical appearance isn't anything too crazy, just your generic long greasy weeb hair, beard shadow and acne face.

He's really annoying, but (MOSTLY) harmless. He's the kind of guy that goes around and starts comparing himself to famous actresses and starts claiming he's hotter than them and how he one day wishes to go full time GIRL MODE so that all the boys pay attention to him. Like I said mostly harmless. Here beings the problem:

A lot of community colleges offer single semester bartending courses, it's a matter of taking classes. I imagine a background in waiting/serving/food service probably does wonders in getting hired. It also depends on the bar--some are more "entertainment" based and want bartenders to put on a bit of a show, others just want tenders to serve drinks and make conversation.

It's been a few weeks since this happened and I've only been over there once to pick up a jacket I left. I had her on facebook so I messaged her saying that it got infected, which did and she told me it was my fault for getting it infected.

Oh and since I was late to my parent's anniversary dinner and since I still live with them- only being 19, I wasn't able to make it to Megacon. Dunno if anyone is able to see it, but she bit me in two spots, one in which they'll be a scar there. She wants to go to Metro with me, and is currently planning that atm.

Not coworker but rather a student of a learning center I work at.
One of the few highschoolers there but probably as annoying and as hard to handle as the middle schoolers, if not more. Typical weeb behavior with absolutely no volume control, talks about animu literally every other sentence and always makes references to characters when talking to anyone, including nicknaming them specific characters (usually from Naruto or One piece).
Unfortunately she knows I'm into animu shit because my boss let slip the fact that I go to the local con, and she likes to call me her "bestie" because of that. Fortunately, she doesn't know how much because can I always just tell her to do her assignments when ever she tries to talk to me.

It could be worse to be honest. She doesn't pretend to be japanese because she actually is half japanese, though you couldn't tell if you saw her.

He, of course, was the cool, lone hero that was going to win our hearts.

The girl who was his 'current' love interest was also his love interest in the story and the one who most recently rejected him was always portrayed in the most unflattering way possible or sometimes just a straight-up villain. Poor Tomboy was once written as a staunch, man-hating lesbian who got turned straight by the power of his hot beef injections. Yes, there were sex scenes. Complete with poorly-drawn manga illustrations.

I now know he has a separate cosplay account on Facebook with albums of his 'sexy' cosplay. He never wears wigs and rocks the bathrobe kimono/ flip flops and socks shit. He also apparently still rocks the terrible Vincent Valentine cosplay he wore to prom.

I don't know if this counts as a horror story but last year I had the WORST experience with a self-righteous weeb in our Otakon group.

She turned her nose up at cosplay, ditched our group while simultaneously complaining that she felt left out, had a personal vendetta against me because she was jealous that I was better friends with everyone in our group, including her “best friend”. She just acted like she was better than everyone the whole time, sneering at people over an open copy of Kuroshit from the manga booth.

And she did a lot of little things that added up and made the weekend difficult for me- like hoarding the hotel keys, refusing to go to any of the restaurants I chose, claiming an entire bed for herself when we only had two, taking horribly long showers, shooting down any suggestions I made even if everyone else wanted to do them, etc.

She left halfway through and blamed me for having the worst weekend of her life. Apparently I single-handedly managed to run someone out of state.

I worked at a daycare in the two year old classroom. I then got a new co-worker. Alright girl but super fucking weeby. When it first started, it was pretty tame. He would just crack inappropriate jokes or make comments. Often it was in the presence of teachers or other adults. Who never said anything. So that made us--me at least--wonder if we weren't over reacting when we got offended if an adult was RIGHT THERE and didn't tell him he was being inappropriate.

By the time things got bad, it took us a minute to realize 'hey wait, this is fucked up'. But when we did, we all started telling him stop, swatted his hands away, etc. Princess was the only one who actively encouraged that shit.

One of the things I didn't touch on (because it's less humorous) is that he really knew how to go for the jugular if he was feeling wrong. He could pinpoint a weakness and know just what to say to really upset you. I have some medical problems (chronic asthma being the most visible of them) and once when he was angry with me he told me he was the only guy who would ever like me in spite of all of my 'issues'. I wasn't even interested in a relationship then and it still stung like hell.

He was also really manipulative. When you rejected him and he would be pissy at you about it, he would go on in such a way that it made you feel like everything was all your fault and you were the one being horrible and unreasonable. So when he started being nice to you again, it was almost a relief.

Guy is easily twice my weight and I'm not exactly petite.

Throughout the rest of the year my friends and I spot: Sonic porn on his laptop. Kawaii lolis as his desktop. His obsession with playing Gundam shit on an emulator. His fucking deviantart account (which he lists himself as "82lbs" on).

Turns out he knows everything from the first half of the first year but nothing else because he keeps having to repeat it. This guy was 25. Fucking 25 and riding the governments coattails to stay in school and not pay for it.

I was at my friends house one night before a convention and she had other friends over and we were all sitting around chatting. (Friend whose house I am at is Japanese.) One of her friends, lets just call her N, starts going on about her future career goals. It involved her moving to Japan for a while and getting hired at a maid cafe. Claimed she would totally get hired because she is a beautiful rare Gaijin with blonde hair and blue eyes. I sat there quietly trying not to laugh. N had hot topic clothing on she claimed was 'lolita' and fried blonde hair from way too many dye jobs. Had to I watched my Japanese friend try to nicely suggest that maybe her dream wasnt realistic especially since her conversational Japanese wasnt very strong but N wouldnt believe her. Said she had no one to practice with and thats why she sucked at Japanese. I suggested she look into a local community center that held events where people could practice Japanese with native speakers in return for practicing English with them. N said she couldnt because all the old Japanese men would want to bone her.

Lol ok.

I dont think she even made it to Japan but then again she wasnt my friend. Oh one last fun fact. I complimented her on some of her Star Wars tattoos and she explained that she had both a rebel alliance tattoo and empire tattoo to represent balance and money.

Yeah, I know a girl in my class (bear in mind I repeated a year so she's a year younger) she's 17/18 right now? And one of the biggest weabs I've ever encountered irl, probably about as bad as I was aged 13, maybe even worse due to the fact that she draws shonen-ai stuff and parades it around as yaoi, even showing it to people who no one in their right mind would show that shit to.
She's got that lack of social understanding where she tells people things and doesn't get that maybe it's best not to tell certain people certain things, either because the people will just get creeped out, or she will be guaranteed to be teased by others.
She wears an Attack on Titan bag all the time (which is fine in itself, but she kind of tries telling everyone what AoT is) and is obsessed with Vocaloid (Again, tries telling as many people as possible what Vocaloid is and why Len is sooo sexy). She also attempts to do the little "kawaii" poses/mannerisms that characters do in Anime like smiling with your eyes closed and head cocked and/or clapping your hands, but we all know it looks fucking retarded irl and she "speaks Japanese"
I'm always nice to her but sometimes I find it difficult not to criticise her because she makes situations to uncomfortable to be in, also she makes it REALLY hard not to make fun of her. Last year she was dating a 13 year old boy in a "serious" relationship.

Yeah, that's about it.

Anyway, one day she irked me a bit. The thing that irks me the most Is That She Types Like This and tried to give me a shitty pity shower telling me all her "issues" just to try to make me feel bad, i dunno. A lot of designers can't draw. It's a thing. When I was in school most of my graduating class really couldn't draw that well. They either don't learn or don't really hone that skill. But drawing is a completely different skill set then designing.
