I'm thinking of buying costume653 but I'm not sure about which size I need. Size M says 92cm bust, 82cm waist and size L says 96cm bust, 86cm waist. Is this the measurement of the actual garment or the ideal measurements for the wearer? I have a 90cm bust but a 70cm waist so I'm not sure if size M would be too small for me in the bust or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Thanks! I just measured myself and I seem to have put on a bit of weight as my bust is now 92 and my waist 71. I'm not too savvy with a sewing machine so I don't think I'd be able to alter it, but the ties on the apron should *hopefully* be enough to pull the waist in.

Its a lovely fit, its a bit hard to zip up because the zip goes up pretty high and i have zero flexibility, haha.

I can possibly get a worn photo tomorrow. As for fit, I'm 5'1 and I have a 74 cm bust and 58 cm waist and it's a little loose but the waist ties help. There is shirring in the back and it feels like it can stretch. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help there.

Congrats on the baby, but honestly I'd probably not have it if I didn't have a bunch of cute Lolita maternity clothes already lined up. It would be so much easier for you though if Bodyline already had a bunch of cute items out right now (if you were already set on keeping it and had nothing nice to wear). When I got pregnant I realized that I'd have nothing to wear for at least half of the time when my regular lolita won't fit, and on top of other things it just wasn't a good time so i had an abortion, but this time I'm planning everything out and it made me realize I need to start my collection now if I want to have a baby. I've already got several babydoll cut dresses but I have no idea what other cuts would suit a pregnant girl so I'm just sticking with that for now :/ Hopefully Bodyline comes out with something before I get impatient haha.

I have it in navy and its a nice length (hits at the knee for me)and pretty cute, I was a bit pissed to find that the gathers in the front didnt come out as nicely and looked a bit lumpy, but it is bodyline so i kinda expected something to go wrong. they also sewed one of the bows into the waist band but its not too noticeable. hopefully you have better luck with the construction.
