I find most pokemon gijinka and most, not all, but most cross cosplay designs to be lacking. Also any design that's character + steam punk, I usually find somewhat cringe worthy even if it's well done. I just find it silly stretching to add a steam punk twist to characters completely unrelated to it.

Lol, good catch. God, I hate every single Sailor Moon wig. Literally all of them and it doesn't help when they either pull this shit or that ever retarded practice of leaving the tails braided. Why even bother?
Also, this is probably the worst punk sailor moon I've seen yet. Every single piece of clothing looks like it was either pulled off the discount rack at Forever21 or bought on sale at Salvation Army. Nothing is really even punk, if anything it's Bar Skank Sailor Moon.
Also, kek I have that same shitty headband from Claire's. It's probably one of the lamest spike headbands you can possibly get.

Agreed. Given Sailor Moon's aesthetic is supposed to be as girlish as possible, turning them "punk" just seems like an excuse to be lazy with costuming and wigs.

It especially bothers me that Uranus and Neptune are such common targets for it. They both play classical music, that is the antithesis of punk.
