Drama aside and hopefully it's cool to ask here; but does anyone have any recommendations for local photogs that are good to work with?

I would really like to start getting more than hall photos for some of my costumes, but I have no idea who to go to. Most photogs I've seen mostly shoot friends or have extreme friend bias (aka doing free shoots with 12+ pictures for friends and paid ones with only 4-6 for "strangers").

This is actually a small concern of mine. I want to create a page for my cosplays, but I don't want to seem all self-important and needing of a "fan-page" or anything. And then if I did create one, I'd would feel awkward about posting it anywhere because I have awful self esteem and would talk myself out of it by asking myself why anyone would care what costumes I was doing. And they shouldn't. I am not well known enough for anyone to care.
But then, in order to get well known enough, I'd have to advertise myself. But why would anyone care or even bother looking at my shit? I am no one.
