This isn't even a well done Jessica Rabbit, though. It's as bad as Yaya's drag queen looking version. Having big tits isn't enough. The make up is so sloppy, her face looks haggard, and her hair is too short and not even properly styled. Then, you must not have been cosplaying for very long or you've just seen shit cosplayers. Heidi Klum herself cosplayed as her and looked closest to the real thing. Not this mess. And, the picture you've provided is terrible because she didn't even pick the correct corset. Her torso is a tube. Jessica is an hourglass. She should have used a corset that has that type of design. They aren't difficult to find, period.

That hair is too long, you're correct. OP picture makes it appear shorter than it was.

The makeup is still terrible. The shadow isn't dark enough, the lips aren't defined, and the eyebrows look like a chola. I get that people are trying to look just like her when doing this, but here's the thing; Animation doesn't always translate into real life in a flattering way. Yes, Jessica has thin brows, but she's also a 2D drawing. Brows that thin irl make you look, as I said, like a chola. It's typically associated with a trashy, ghetto look. The best way to do Jessica Rabbit is to translate her makeup into what it would be in real life, so she could have picked up some brow gel and powder and liner from Anastasia's line and made her brows how a real redhead's would be.

Sorry, no, this is a mess. I'm sure I'll be told that I'm jealous, but she and Yaya did a terrible job at portraying this character.

Take your own advice, anon. It's called criticism and nobody is above reproach. That post wasn't senseless bashing and typical Ardella hate. Tips to make the cosplay look a lot better than it actually was were offered. It has nothing to do with it not being done someone's way. There's a way to make a cosplay not look like shit and when people offer you a critique without insulting you at every turn, it's legitimate.

Go back to Tumblr with your overly sensitive bullshit. This isn't the land of everybody is accepted and loved with asspats and coddles. If you look like ass, you get told so you can learn and improve.

It isn't. There are multiple styled of corsets. I happen to own a corset that gives a fantastic Jessica Rabbit shape. It's the Morticia, by What Katie Did.

What Ardella is using is a $60 corset off of eBay, which most beginning corset wearers use when they're just starting out as sleepers. It doesn't provide any real reduction or hourglass figure, especially with how heavy (notice how I didn't say fat) she is. You can even tell towards the bottom that her pudge is being pushed, which means it's ill-fitting. A corset shouldn't fit like that, even if you're a heavier girl.

In short, this is a cheap corset that doesn't get the job done. There are much nicer ones that last longer, provide that beautiful shape, and are worth the money you spend especially if you plan to use for future cosplays or training. While I can see the logic behind buying a cheap corset for one time, research should have been done on the types or she should've just used one of those elastic body shapers. Those would've looked better than this, honestly.

I like the way she thinks, promoting creativity and not afraid to add her own personal touches to a character. Making an otherwise drab costume into something spectacular is always eye-catching. For example she could dress as a male character that's normally fully clothed but flip it into something feminine, altering the characters uniform or what have you. Showing off all that represents a woman and at the same time proving they are strong in their own right

No shit, that's the whole point, the character is no longer a male. It's an alternate version, where as the male would generally use brawn and brute force to manipulate a situation the female would use other more persuasive means of control. Different yet similar, two sides of the same coin
