Lucky packs are my favorite part of the year! Post reveals, which pack you are waiting for, etc. Anyone managed to get the AP special sets? Everything was gone in 20 minutes as far as I can tell.

It was okay. Pic related is the sweet pack. I wore the bloomers a lot since it was cold as fuck here for a week, and the flower headpiece fits nicely with my wardrobe. Besides the barrette, I can't imagine myself using the rosette and the Alice pin. I also got a classic pack with a deer necklace that I can't keep.

I went to AP in the morning, the LPs have already been out for a day in my city but only the Mercator special set and the lavender colourway of the lucky pack print were sold out. The blind accessory packs and jsk packs were also sold out.
Also a lot of items on sale for 60% off and 30% off.

Baby also had a lot of items for 30% off (also apparently up to 60% off but i didnt have time to look).

I really wanted the 3way bag LP from Lizlisa but i dont think they stocked their smaller LPs at all.

If you saw the online store pre-sale stuff it's essentially the same batch. Most of their blouses, coats, cutsews, headwear parasols, and leg wear were on sale like... 40% off. Some less popular prints were 60%. I don't know how much will be left since it was really busy in there. Chances are there won't be anything good left. The newer prints aren't on sale at all. I looked around all the Lolita store in the 0101 building (innocent world, btssb, aatp, Emily temple cute, but it'll probably be the same story for it all: people were running to get the good stuff so chances are there really aren't any good sale items left.

Thanks for the info. I had my eye on a couple things in the online pre-sale, but nothing I absolutely loved even with the discount. Rather do Closet Child for impulse buys since you can get quality pieces for cheaper than sale prices. Glad to hear you got what you went for!

I also wanted the meractor set but i ended up getting the CDC set too. Honestly before seeing it i thought CDC was super overrated and an ugly ass print but its not that bad.

The colourway is definitely the worst, along with the pink so if you have a different one, i dont think its worth keeping unless youre going to resell...

The cut in the bust area is so so... i dont really like the look of the full shirring in the back but i guess thats just personal preference.

The hairbow is kinda small imo and the socks are really damn ugly. I havent worn them yet and i think theyre prolly the same as the other CDC socks but damn they ugly.

Honestly though, for $170 or so, i think its still worth it and despite some of the shittiness, it still looks pretty cute. I dont know if its for all CDC dresses but the ends of bows have little crystals on them which is super cute.

Picked up my BABY/AatP LP from the post office today. Surprisingly happy with it--I'm keeping the cape, salopette, and necklace for sure, and probably the blouse as well. I would keep the JSK except that it's waaaaay too short on me, so I'm going to try trading it and the skirt.

You get a shopping service and put their address in the address section? You don't need your friend to go pick it up unless it's a limited in-store item and if it is that, then you can't pre-order it.

This year, I preordered the Mini Trunk when it was listed (early December) and it was shipped on the 30th to Tenso (my shopping service and the one that Liz Lisa's site recommends). And now I'm waiting on Tenso to process my order and contact me about the usage fee and international shipping.

If you don't have any friends to pick it up for you, do you mean you won't be in the country and need to have it sent from Japan to your country, or did you mean preordering it so that you can pick it up in person?

If you need it shipped to your country, ordering from Liz Lisa's website works the same way as ordering from AP. You can ship it to Tenso (you will need a Tenso account) and have them ship it to you.

If you need to order from a shop so you can pick it up in person after the 28th, you'll probably have to pay an in-person shopping service to make the reservation for you, then get the reservation ticket once you arrive, and pick it up at the appointed time. Follow the individual shop blogs for reservations details.

Your other option is to order directly from the website, and have it shipped to your hotel. Assuming you clear it with the hotel first that they're ok to receive trunk-sized packages in your name.

Alternatively you could ask Tenso if it's possible to pick up from their office, or have them ship the trunk to you closer to your arrival date.

And lastly, if you're not particularly after a specific trunk, what with gyaru dying, your chances of getting a trunk by just showing up in person are pretty decent, especially if you're willing to hit up multiple Liz Lisa stores on fukubukuro day (which I assumed you're planning to do anyway)

Got my emoda lucky pack from the global online store. I got a knit crop top, pink blazer, and white mini skirt. Combined with the sweater that came with every lucky pack, I'm extremely pleased. Pic is the jacket I got. I would definitely recommend this pack to anyone who is into neogyaru or mode kei.

Swimmer anon here. I'll post my stuff! Compared a bit with my friend. As far as I know the goods are varied but they're in about the same category (ex: random hair clips but there will still be hair accessory items in the packs?)
First off the bag is fucking cute. I'm surprised it was sturdy enough to hold during my walk in harajuku because this LP is really heavy.

Bottom front of JSK. This dress is heavy--bottom ruffle is chiffon and the cotton they used for the dress is soft and thick. It's definitely a winter dress.

Purse. It's soft pleather and it feels quite thin--I'm rough on my purses so this definitely won't be an every day bag, but it holds a massive amount of stuff, which is nice.

I didn't photograph the socks but they're standard AP lace-up socks. I'm 5'8 and they hit me right above my knee, but they don't have a lot of stretch.

With my lucky packs I got a peach blouse and the same blouse in navy, two bracelets, only one hair accessory/other accessory, the same tote bag twice and then the same skirt twice with different socks. Honestly I just love having two new blouses in colours I don't really have and I really love the socks. I actually use barrettes so the giant lace monster clip may actually get some use.

I'll be selling off the extra skirt and tote bag though for sure. I also don't really own anything that goes super well with sweet or pink but I'm willing to try and make it work if only because the skirt is covered in waffles and pretzels. I don't really know if the peach blouse will go with the skirt but I tried it out anyway.

My Lucky Pack from Innocent world was a bit of a blooper TBH, and it makes me sad because it was my first LP and I have been trying to get one for yonks.

I really like all the things in it, I just don't feel like I got my monies worth. I got one print dress, wich I loved and was looking to get in second hand sales. But it was a really unpopular release and is pretty much worthless re-sale wise, it was Ball at Versailles, nobody wants it. I got two other really random JSKs, like not even lolita JSK's that probably wouldn't even sell for $50 each on LM. Fortunately I like them. Unfortunately they are way too small. I also got a blouse, some socks, and a phone case (for Iphone4. it sells for like $13 on LM. Kinda wish I had an Iphone...)

As for sizing, I got lucky pack A (I think :S) in size L.

I was very happy with the Ball at versailles JSK as they also provided the long version. I'm not sure if this was from insight on their part as well bigger people normally need a bit of extra length, or if it was just lucky. As for the other JSKs, they couldn't be described as anything other than for a petite person. There was absolutely no room in the front of the bodice. I know this is a well known IW norm but I'm normally pretty fine with most of their OP's and JSK's, I just thought they would choose somethings a bit more suitable for "Size L". None of the items has sizing labels on them either, so it just makes me think that they just pulled things out of the old stock bin stretched out the shirring and where like, yup stretches, size L.

Hate to break it to you, anon, but that is precisely what luckypacks are. The things that make it into an IW luckypacks especially are things that went on sale and didn't sell out. The luckypacks are a way to get rid of non moving stock, so you definitely cannot expect anything popular or with high resale value in them.

The reason people say luckypacks are good value is because, for 30k yen, you received not one, not two, but three jsks. That would have cost you at least 70k yen at retail. As for getting them cheaper secondhand, you do realise that the reason some dresses are cheaper secondhand is because those dresses turned up in luckypacks, right? Otherwise everyone would be trying to sell them at higher prices.

With regards to size and iphone cases, again, the luckypack is a way to get rid of non moving stock. IW can't really help it if the minority of things they produce in larger sizes are the ones that sell out. That's why before buying a luckypack, you should make sure you fit into most of the items from the brand, and that you will love even the simplest, ugliest dresses that other people wouldn't want. If you're really so large-sized that you can only fit into a handful of IW dresses, and picky about the print you get to boot, then you really shouldn't be buying luckypacks, wait for the sales or wait for other people to get their luckypacks, then cherry pick the few dresses that are in your size and that you like, buy those. (This is also why you have three people asking what your other jsks look like and whether you're looking to sell).
