And another dream I went to india and they had a kinoko juice doll fair.
I stole them all and drove off in a car like the one from chitty chitty bang bang, yes, I flew away in a car. I had the dolls, thats all I wanted.

I woke up sad because I'd never be able to afford them.

I love these! Mine are pathetic though. I get anxiety dreams about fearing the hotel and the con goers. I'm always confronted by past old friends that dropped me from their clique, which was my only family at the time. I can't even enjoy the cosplay atmosphere which is usually something I relish at real cons. I just end up walking through crowds, and accidentally spot them through a window. I watch them be happy until I see my reflection in the window and realize I look pale in comparison. I usually get self conscious about my makeup during these ones, I don't want them to see me at my worst, they used to make fun of my skin when they saw me without it, so I go into panic mode or the hotel will sometimes just topple over due to an earthquake while I'm stuck in an elevator trying to leave, and still haven't finished applying my foundation. I honestly usually can't tell which is worse at the time and just try to survive while keeping me head down so the other cosplayers can't see my face.
Sad thing is I'm almost thirty and still get these lame nightmares. I have fine skin now, but in my dreams it always reverts back to how it was. So lately any time I feel that specific dream coming on I try to prep myself by telling myself I look okay.

If these nightmares are very recurring, you could try lucid dreaming into them? (that sentence probably didn't make a whit of sense) I had my first lucid dream a few weeks ago, where I was following the dream normally until I hit a point where my dream-self realised that I was in a dream. I said aloud "I'm in a dream right now" and it was difficult to push out those words and I thought I was going to lose consciousness, but then I could fly and stuff and do anything I wanted.

It'd be an awesome opportunity to smash through the hotel window, walk over to your ex-friends, and tell them "you were horrible people and I'm glad you're out of my life."

Thanks so much anon! I've actually been practicing lucid dreaming with this specific one! Sometimes like that one though I forget I'm dreaming so I get caught in the loop and wake up ashamed lol. On good nights when I see like naruto cosplayers or something cheesy I realize I'm dreaming and once I do, it fast forwards to the building falling. Skips the exfriends/makeup scenes depending on my level of confidence. I've been able to stop the building a couple times, I preemptively cause it to happen a lot on accident due to this scenario happening so many times, if I catch the signs I usually force the building to reassemble itself and stay up longer, if I'm not paying attention it'll start to sway again back and forth until I slow it down or just change the scene. I've never been in an actual earthquake but it's scary every time. On bad days multiple buildings go down. I noticed my anxiety likes to appear as various storms or random danger in my dreams, so that's another hint to me when I'm dreaming to stop creating them subconsciously or I'll get caught up in it. I have a habit of creating my own problems if I'm not careful. I'd keep a journal but most of my dreams just get too embarrassing to share. I realize how easily I get hung up over things now, after detecting the underlying issues I try to move onto happier ones and take mental notes. Keep up the practice too! It's fun when they're good lol.
