The print is very clear and not backwards.

The shoulder straps have two openings on them to adjust size and fasten with a generic black button

There's a side zipper that's hidden some what so it won't be too noticeable.

The waist ties attach via some shitty button that's barely attached. I went to tie the waist ties and one of the buttons came right off and the other is just dangling by a loose thread.

There are some loose threads over it that need to be snipped, especially on the shoulder straps.

The lace isn't scratchy, it feels soft and isn't shiny.

I'm a 96cm bust and I bought a 4L (Bust 90-102cm) and it fits me comfortably but still has enough stretch that once I undid the zipper I could easily pull the dress down over my hips to step out of it without stretching it to the max.

This is my first Bodyline dress so I don't know if they're all like this but the fabric is pretty thick and sturdy. Reminds me of what they use for their WaLolita ones since I previously owned one a few years ago.

The color runs true to the listing, which I wasn't sure if it would or not.

I have weird ass feet so I really need to try on shoes before I buy them, it's always a risk not to. My feet are two different sizes and apparently I have wide feet (they aren't really wide but my toes aren't squished into points like so many other people's are, is that from wearing ill fitting shoes or something?).

It's a bit of a pain since the nice thing about Bodyline, with the free shipping and all, is that you can buy only $40 or so of stuff and still feel like it's worthwhile. Just got l325 in blue and l380 in cream.

I know someone joked about l325 being used for a Tardis coord before but I actually really like it. It's not super bright but the color is very rich. Closer to a Smith Tardis than Tennant Tardis haha.

L380 in cream is amazing. This skirt has so many little details and its really lovely. I think if they released this in more colors I'd buy a bunch. I'll take photos soon.

i got l217 in pink yesterday and i was pleasantly surprised with the quality. its a very soft felt like cotton. i dosent come with the blouse. i had kinda low expectations with it but its actually pretty nice and good for cute casual wear. the underskirt type thing that comes with on the skirt is a bit awkward looking though. i know nothing about sewing or attaching and taking things off though so i guess im just stuck with it. it comes with alot of bows. it came with this huge lacy bow that i dont even see clipped on in the stock photo. the construction on the jacket is very very nice and it comes with an extra button. i like it alot.

My order finally got here about three days ago. Exactly 7 weeks after I placed the order.

Here's another reference of what the gold SHOES300 / S507 look like in comparison to the AP gold star bag. The color is fairly close in terms of warmth but the shoes are more enamel and shiny.

Also they reek and smell like Testors model paint. I have them airing out in my attic. Otherwise, they feel really sturdy and the bow construction is nice.

Not lolita related but I hope you wear proper respiratory protection if you or anyone is spraying Testors sealants. They are incredibly toxic and can cause major lung damage. You shouldn't be able to smell Testors at all with the right mask.

I've got shoes 291 in 24.5 (I'm normally a size 25 but they didn't have the colourway I wanted any larger) and they're pretty nice! They fit a little tight because of that, but the ankle strap is removable and taking it out makes them much more comfortable. I'd say they're true to size.

I have conflicting feelings about BL. I look at pictures of BL pieces coordinated well outside of stock photos and I want them, but I've also had less than satisfactory experiences with their pieces (even though I understand that they're not going to be brand quality) compared to other brand pieces. And then there are pieces I do want, but unsure if it'd be worth fixing up to be less of a hairy eye-ball.

I'm currently eyeing L299 and I'm trying to envision it like this

>make the bow smaller
(to accent, not overwhelm the bodice)

I don't know if it's going to be worth my time buying and modifying or not. I'd love to hear and see some examples of BL pieces that successfully got modified.

Not that anon, I'm >>8211677 who ordered it when it first came out. But mine was Purple 4L.. which I wish I had gotten a 2L cause it's pretty roomy on me but I'm a 96cm bust and I was 2cm over the 2L measurements and didn't know if the dress had any stretch.

For that one, I would say not worth it. I bought the skirt because I liked the print but the cut of the JSK is just so damn weird. And your modifications aren't going to fix that. The print is really cute but the fabric is kind of stiff and weird, not as good as some of their others. I think modifying in general can be very worth it, but for this one I wouldn't bother.

My own modification story- got l136 in blue secondhand for like 15 bucks, took off the ugly crystal buttons and replaced them with little white rabbits, and added a ruffle to the bottom to make it longer. Pretty minor modifications but it made it a lot cuter, and the fabric was quite nice (nice drape and weight, feels like stretch sateen maybe?) and the skirt is very full- it fits a really huge petti which is unusual for BL. So it was worth the effort to fix it up.

Did you select options to declare half or quarter value on the parcel? If not, you'll be charged. If it's airmail it'll be a £8.50 handling fee from Royal Mail plus 20% tax, if its EMS it'll be £13.50 ditto. The 20% includes shipping costs. If it was sent in multiple packages there'll be a handling fee on each parcel.

To the UK, parcels marked as commercial get stung if the declared value (including shipping) is over £15. Parcels marked as gifts get charged if the declared value is over £36 (£30 if shipping was via DHL). There are extra taxes for parcels over £130, just FYI, but I forget what they are.
